Re: Giannis SIGNS
Does anyone have any idea when we will be hearing from him next? Or is there going to be a news conference?

Re: Giannis SIGNS
I was under the impression from Bobby Marks that Giannis couldn't sign an option at the end. Either way this is just awesome news. Now we can enjoy the season. Let's all get vaccinated so we can attend playoff games!

Extension starts 21-22. We have him for five years total if he declines PO, six years total if he accepts PO, under this contract.
Thanks for answering my question. So they must have torn up the last year of his contract (next year).
No, 2020-21 was the final year of his deal. The extension starts next year.

Could he have signed this today after the owners flew in yesterday to tell him we’d trade for Harden...

Very nice. Smart play always to take the large sum of money. If the team Wins, then all will be well on the Giannis front (in the garden).
Go Bucks!

Yeah, I wonder why people that tried to paint Giannis as selfish, diva, without loyalty, FT missing, 6'11'' Westbrook player are happy that he signed a supermax extension with their team.

Happiest off-the-field sports event. I think only the Reggie White signing comes close.

Voodoo, Shaffty, PP....
Thank you. You guys brought much needed sanity to this process. Logically I assumed and believed he would probably sign. Emotionally this was brutal and as a Bucks fan I thought this might all be too good to be true. What caught me off guard was while this was extremely exciting, I didn't expect to get this emotional.
It's an exciting time to be a Bucks fan. I can't wait to get back to normal so I can get back to the Fiserv and enjoy a game with my kids!

Good luck and see you in the ECFs.
