Considering how spotty the 2nd and 3rd ones were, and how generally ludicrous it is to have another one with Reeves and Moss 22 years after the original (they are 57 and 54 years old, fwiw), I am irrationally hyped for this.

It doesn't make any sense how hyped up I am to see this. Maybe it's similar to how Star Wars fans feel even after being consistently disappointed by the movies.

I dont expect it to blow my mind like the OG Matrix did, but I have no reason to believe it wont atleast be a fun ride.

I'll pass on the Matrix 4.

Those last 2 were just abominations. They'll make plenty of money but none from me.

As a tech nerd I can't help but love the Matrix. The subtle references to programing and computer science always give me a laugh.

I get ya. I don't watch any of the comic book movies either, but that's more because I'm overwhelmed and don't care enough to put in the effort.

To be fair, I liked the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movies even though they sucked bad.

Crazy he could keep that quiet for so long. One of the best comics of all time, really no one else who did it like he did.

Goddammit. Norm means a lot to me. King of the smart-dumb joke. Could be caustic and a minute later have unsurpassed empathy. The last show he did with Dave just wrecked me. One of my favorite moments in life was sitting down with my father and my brother over Thankgiving and catching Norm on Conan talking about the latest Pirates of the Caribbean chapter. "You like Johnny Depp, right Conan? Well, uh, he's doing full frontal in the next Pirates of the Caribb..." - "Oh really" - "It's rated AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH." All three of us just dissolved into laughter. I cannot say the word "gum" without appending "Uhhhh, you got any" before it. Fkin legend.
