Giannis and Brook should catch lower so they see the trap easier. Giannis had great pump fakes vs them.

How about Sam Cassell?

Or we need a 1990’s Don Nelson. He’d run a lineup of:
Giannis- point center
AJJ as energy PF
GTJ
KPJ
AJG

Still probably wouldn’t win much but would be fun as hell to watch!

I've always liked Cassell. He's considered a top notch assistant but you rarely hear his name come up for HC gigs.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Everything I've seen from Doc's lineup management and defensiveness about it post game leads me to believe he wanted Kuzma. I'm not convinced that was fully a Horst move, and I say this as someone who's totally on board with Horst getting canned in the offseason.

But yeah, either way it's a disaster of a move and both of them should be gone this summer. Kuzma has legitimately been atrocious this season, both with the Wizards and now for us, and it's hilarious watching some of these other playoff teams and knowing Kuzma is starting games for us.

I'm fairly certain that they're going to clean house if they don't get out of the first round. Horst through Doc. Doc might get kicked up stairs, though I'd be opposed to that.

Giannnis played 6 less minutes then kawhi and 8 less than jokic. Our team sucks and our best player can’t play 40 plus minutes

So much gravity! It's a problem.

Doc has to be the most overrated coach in the history of the NBA.

It's so wild that we fired bud when his worst seasons were over 50 wins, fired another coach with a winning record, and Doc has taken a team all in trying to win a championship with an MVP caliber player and another future HoF to a .500 record and likely 2 first round exits in 2 years. Be careful what you wish for I guess.

Looking into the 2nd game just bring Lillard back and tight the rotation to 8 players.

Lillard (32)/Porter (16)
Green (28)/Porter (12)/Trent (8)
Kuzma (28)/Trent (20)
Giannis (40)/Bobby (8)
Brook (28)/Bobby (20)

- You don’t need Sims get twice on the floor to replace Giannis for 8-9 minutes. These are the Bobby/Brook lineups where Portis has the green light to get buckets.

- At this point Rollins is my 9th and Prince is definitely my 10th guy. Actually it’s Pat, but it’s too late to make that change.

- KPJ and GTJ have developed great chemistry coming from the bench together. I wouldn’t change that. Along with Bobby you have big time opportunity against Indy’s second unit.

- Green is the guy that fits in the starting lineup. He was our only guard that could stand in front of Indy’s guards out there and the most reliable 3p shooter.

- I won’t judge Kuzma harshly. Doc has put him into a bad situation. Prince at SG makes us slow, Rollins at PG leaves too much at Kuzma’s shoulders. I believe he can become super valuable with his size in Dame + Green or KPJ or Trent lineups.

Watched the game again. I was wrong.. Bobby only lost his guy once.. it was Brook that was the main culprit and left Miles to bury us with 3s 3 or 4x..

Giannis had 1 bad D play and left Mathurin wide... Kuz only lost his guy once and that was the wide open Nemhard 3 but it also looked like dumb coaching because he was setting up a wall/trap instead of being on Nem. Green was getting scored on but when he stopped the dribble they were taking mid range .. I'd live with that.. same for Kuz.

Conclusion... this isn't a Brook series.. we actually had our comeback with Bobby on the floor.. him and Sims might have to be the dudes at 5.. Sims can hound Turner. Kuz made his guy pass a lot.. I'd roll with him game 2 for the D and hope he isn't a zero zero zero on offense again.

Prince I'm worried about.. he just ... idk.. he didn't lose his guy but he wasn't close them either..he's playing way off because he's a plodder.. sit Prince and Brook -- add Dame, more KPJ and we can probably win.

Basically we have to roll with the quickest ft mfers we have and hope they don't suck on offense or we don't have a chance.. if we play Brook for his post ups then Turner will embarrass us.. if we play Prince for his open 3s.. wtf are they and he's giving them back anyways so what's the point.

I know it’s an uncomfortable position to be in, because he’s been the backbone of our defense for so many years, but I don’t think Brook has a place in this series.

We know he’ll get picked on in space and that Indy will target him over and over, but when he’s also getting bullied at the rim by 6’5” Nembhard, he needs to be pulled completely.

I know we’d also be missing out on his offensive splash games where he gives us 20, but I don’t know against Indy if he’ll ever be able to get his head above water even when he gets hot.
