If Dame even had a normal offensive game we win that by 30+

Too bad we've never seen Dame play defense and make shots in the same game.

Oh well, good win. Dame with a horrible offensive game but he came through on defense late. Trent Jr. and Giannis saved this game.

Dame had good D MOST of the game - not just at the end. Used his quick feet and hands to cause disruption and chaos.. rejected PS and TS down by the hoop like a 6ft Giannis. Several deflections plus forcing his guy to pass by stopping penetration or their spot up

To be fair his good defense in the first half usually came after a boneheaded offensive play. Lazy turnovers then he got a block, or jacked up a logo shot that was way off and hit the ball out of the defenders hands.

There might be truth there that he did extra at those times, but that's instead of crying to the refs and trotting back late. Beyond that he was in position, pushing Hali off his right, making shooters rush or pass off
