I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I can confirm this rumor is hot. We really drove the point home during a late night meeting at Webb's: It was now or never. Back-up plans include Daniel Santiago, Dan Gazuric, and Francisco Elson.

is Brian Skinner still in play?

Skinner was in play early according to my sources. However, once we had an in to re-sign Marquis Daniels and Royal Ivey I'm hearing we coveted only one of these talented 5's to provide some versatility in an otherwise small-ball heavy line-up. Adding players the caliber of Daniels and Ivey, solidifying the skill and flexibility at our 1-3 slot, really brings up a greater question: Do we welcome Anthony Mason (RIP) back into the fold?

:o

The Bucks should resist the urge to blow ANY money on average to scrub big men and roll with what they have. I would settle for R. Lopez but I think he ends up with Aldrich somewhere. I could probably be talked into Monroe at this point unless its some mega deal.

Man, you gotta know your target. DeAndre Jordan may love eating dinner with Jamie Foxx, but some guys do actually care more about the basketball side of things.

Chandler going to Phoenix makes me think either the organization was off base in his interest, or they believe they have a legitimate shot at Monroe.

I think it could easily be we weren't willing to go four years.

I'd put money on it being the 4 year thing with Chandler. And I am a-okay we passed up on that.

John Henson is going to start looking awful tasty to some of these teams missing out on big men. Dallas/Clippers/Blazers?

Very well may be, but there was a lot of confidence in a 2 or 3 year deal.

IF that was the case, I've got a renewed confidence in the way we're running things. Kohl era bends and gives him 4 and more at the drop of a hat.

Jerebko just resinged with the Celtics for 2yrs/$10M. The second year is NG. The same thing goes for Johnson's deal. Are the Celtics planning to take on salary dumps at either the trade deadline or next offseason?

Or they just looked at that ridiculous 4-yr $52 mil contract PHX offered him and said, "Uhhh, no thanks...."

I don't know man, head butting the rim is pretty damn impressive.

I remember when we drafted Alexander I didn't know much about him but figured maybe he'd be ok,big athletic guy and after all he was the 8th pick. But then I started getting nervous when every chance he got Jim Paschke would go on and on and on and on some more about how Joe Alexander was going to win the dunk contest. From the moment Joe Alexander was drafted by the Bucks until the moment he didn't win the dunk contest if someone mentioned the name Joe Alexander in the presence of Paschke,Paschke would get an instant hard on about Alexander in the dunk contest.

I remember thinking STFU about the dunk contest, can this guy actually play basketball? Unfortunately when the games started taking place we found out that no,Joe Alexander couldn't play basketball.

This also raises the question, was there ever a greater poster boy for the ''Herb Kohl era'' than Jim Paschke?
