So March gets Final Fantasy VII Remake, April gets Cyberpunk 2077, and now Last of Us II (delayed) comes out in March.

I "finished" The Witcher 3 in a week. Played just an obscene amount every day since I was home injured most of last week. I was surprised at how much I'd forgotten during the last act. I'm at level 32, and now I'm gonna dick around on some quests I skipped and contracts I didn't take to level up some more (and craft some of the better gear I missed the first time around) then I'm thinking I'm gonna start the DLC I never played before. That should be another 30 hours.

I tweeted it out yesterday but I think you can make a good case that it's the greatest game of all time.

It's a game that I have never gotten into and want to so bad. To be fair I've never given it the chance. I know I'll love it since RPGs are my jam. Thought about getting it on the Switch.

In reference to your post before this, I feel like this fall/winter/spring is going to be nuts for game. More so than recent years. I'm jacked.

Witcher was awesome. I didn't finish it, but did play a huge chunk (that's not an indictment on the game at all). The combat wasn't good enough for me to call it GOAT though, at least for my taste.

I was not aware that The Outer Worlds was a thing that was happening but reading a bit about it now and it sounds awesome. Basically like a good Fallout game without being able to use the name.

Eagerly awaiting Outer Worlds impressions from y’all. I’m wishing I had brought my laptop on vaca to play, lol. But I’m glad I didn’t...need to disconnect some (while still posting on RGM...).

When it came out I think I poured around 200+ hours in my first play through with no DLC. Just such a singularly engrossing game. I played DLC 1 which was fantastic if you haven’t played it yet, but never got around to completing the second. There’s a whole other tier of armor upgrades in that one that could take hours to acquire with their cost to craft.

Easily my favorite RPG and you have a point that you could argue it as an all-time great.

LOL yea last night late I finally got the Mastercrafted Griffin set only to look (now that the DLC is installed) and see that Grandmastered set and I'm excited to get it but also goddamn it's gonna take some work.

I did some of the Hearts of Stone stuff last night including the Shani romance quest. That was fun, with Geralt being possessed most of the time.

After roughly 2 hours of play time with The Outer Worlds I can say it plays and feels exactly like a Fallout game (not surprising) but in a different universe. That's not a bad thing either. I can see this having plenty of substance and keeping me busy as I continue. And for only $1 I'm pleased.

Edit: the game could use a couple of patches. Textures take a good while to load for certain objects and I've had to restart the game once when it got stuck on dialog. Still enjoying it.

Finally got around to installing Microsoft Game Pass on my PC. They have a promotion currently where you get your first month for $1 if you are a first time subscriber. The Outer Worlds is on Game Pass. So naturally, I paid the $1 for the month and then turned off auto-renew billing.

I now get to play The Outer Worlds for the next month, for $1.

The issue with game pass is that you have to use the MS Store, and it typically sucks for FPS type games from what I’ve seen. Metro has horrible reviews, for example. I wonder if the EGS version is any better...

I almost always play as someone lawfully good in an ES/FA game, but I think I'm gonna be an absolute psychopath in Outer Worlds. Literally no one is gonna be safe. I'm killing and looting everyone.

The possession quest is fantastic. One of the best pure character building moments I’ve experienced in a game. Very interesting that it’s so good with little traditional game play (your not hacking, shooting, etc... things up) and and yet so memorable.

I was only going to get one of CoD or Outer Worlds until I found out I could get Outer for $1, picked up CoD too. Installing now and my god it's taking forever. 120GB, a driver update and now "Installing Shaders" before I can play online. I played the beta and loved it so I'm excited.

I thought Redbox'ing COD next week but between Witcher DLC and Outer Worlds and the BL3 Halloween DLC I'll be good for gaming for a month. I was disappointed to read that Spec Ops were terrible in the new COD, basically unplayable. That was my favorite aspect of the series ten years ago.

I remember thinking Hearts of Stone was fine but the second DLC Blood and Wine is in a entirely new massive region. That blew my mind when I first played it.

I've played about 15 games of the new COD, pretty fun but my god does the Picadilly map suck.
