I guess I'll go the other way on Homage. I ordered this Bucks in Six tee and while it's fine, and I wear it, I'm not in love with the quality (to say the least). I used to have a very specific style for my tees and hoodies (boring), but in the last year I've ordered a ton of gear with prints that I enjoy. The homage tee is definitely in the bottom 5% in terms of quality. That it was $34 for a tee is pretty insane. In fact, I think literally all the championship gear I bought (that tee, another tee, and a hoodie, all from Fanatics) were pretty sh*tty. Haven't worn the hoodie or the other tee.

ETA: That said I just noticed Fanatics has most of their Bucks championship on clearance. That $34 tee in the link is like $12. I ordered three tees and a hoodie for like $65. Not anticipating great quality, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Huh, good to know as it makes me more cautious about ordering more. Maybe I lucked out with this one.

I absolutely hate Fanatics. Their sizing is absurd, at least for my body type. I don't need a tshirt that goes halfway down my thighs.

By the way, I wonder if anyone in this forum knows of anybody who saw them win in 1971 in the stadium and then again in the fiserv in 2021.

Maybe Kareem?

The winning game in 1971 was in Baltimore. I was listening on the radio -- does that count?

Thanks for writing. That is great! To have enjoyed both the wins live, 50 years apart is fantastic I think. A true Bucks fan.

I bought a book after the recent Bucks Championship, published by Journal-Sentinel, I think. I have just begun to read it. The first few pages are all on true stories and memories about the 1971 win. The pictures are black and white and stories are sometimes told by the son or daughter of a main participant in the team or team management, but the Bucks pride is clearly evident.

It puts the 2021 July win in perspective for me. I was fortunate to be at the Fiserv that day and later at the parade. Waiting to read about that in the same book.

How did you feel when they won in 1971?

Well, as great as it was to have a dominant team, the end result seemed kind of inevitable. It was a sweep of the Bullets, and they just weren't competitive with the Bucks, mainly because Wes Unseld, who was a pretty good center, was way too small to do anything with Kareem (Lew at the time).

That Bucks team remains the fastest from expansion team formation to championship in any professional sport (although the Vegas Golden Knights in hockey almost beat them, losing in the Stanley Cup Finals).

Winning the championship that fast kind of took your breath away. When they picked up Oscar in Kareem/Lew's second year you could see that they were head-and-shoulders above anyone else in the league, but they still had to do it, and they took care of business. Oscar's style was similar to Doncic now -- he played at his own pace and forced the game to come to his terms, not the other way around. And having Lew to feed, or the option of scoring himself with that patented one-hand push shot, made him and the Bucks unstoppable.

What happened to Oscar against the Lakers the next year?

That change to the rule will remove 80% of Harden's attacking ability.

And with Kyrie not wanting to vaccinate, there will be no Nets this year.

I barely use Twitter, but a friend just mentioned a random Suns fan tweet and it reminded me of this exchange I had with one in 2019. Holy **** this is wonderful. And we now have two more championships than them

read the full thread. Says Giannis will leave and also says "imagine thinking you can win a championship with a star that has no jumper". If I wasn't so lasy I'd log into Twitter and reply.

As someone else pointed out on Twitter, Curry also was guilty of a blatant travel before the shot. Just look at those four baby steps.

Getting rid of the Sam Cassell jump-into-defender move is a good first step toward reconforming NBA rules to real basketball rules. Although when Sam used to do it for the Bucks, I loved it.

This morning's Lowe Post podcast with Bill Simmons is a Bucks lovefest for the first 15 minutes. Worth a listen.

Does all the Homage stuff have that H on the sleeve? That's kept me from getting any of their stuff.

This is the only shirt of theirs I have, so I am not positive, but I'd assume so.

THANK YOU.

Hadn't gotten my order, presumably because I ordered a shirt I haven't seen offered in months, and just dropped $200 on gear for my kid, my brother, and well, mostly me. Even a huge discount on a banner I will wave proudly until my death.

Also, even a few of the Homage shirts for 13 in that sale if you are so inclined.

This thread is staying up top of our board all season. When we lose the opener to the Nets and panic sets in this will be a sanctuary.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
