Get Sam Hinkie in as a GM advisor and if we decide to part with Horst, let him follow the process here

I fully realize that all of us posting here are probably way too online, but it’s another level when people start hyper analyzing quotes and acting like they’re psychiatrists. Weird stuff.

I feel like you guys care too much about people reacting to a quote but oh well

We have our small-ball and backup PF in Kuzma so I don't know why Cam Johnson of all people should be a target. Neither guy can D up 2's and 3's effectively so we really need to get a different kind of stopper (Marcus Smart, Thybulle, McDaniels, NAW, etc.) if that's the route we wanna go.

Is the correct response to totally ignore that quote...?

I don't care much at all. I just think it's funny.

I know this won't be the solution you're looking for but I'm guessing that's why they're eyeing up Cody Martin.

I mean… kind of?

What do you really expect to get out of a quote like that other than what he said? Were you expecting something different?

It’s a pretty run-of-the-mill quote for a scenario where a guy you’ve played with forever gets traded. Nothing shocking or out of the ordinary.

Yeah, I'd love to see what some people on this board would say in a situation like that to a reporter, trying their hardest to show both show respect for Khris *and* not generate headlines.

Probably wouldn't do much better than that Giannis quote.

I'm personally going to ignore it until Giannis says he wants to go to the Lakers and only the Lakers.

When your franchise player directly eludes to his eventual exit from the team, I'd say that warrants conversation on a Bucks forum. It's not a code red scenario but its not nothing either.

Brook is playing tonight so probably a false alarm on anything imminent happening there.

Feels likely that we make one small move for a whatever player like Cody Martin or something and that’s it.

I could see Giannis asking out as early as this summer. Not that he’s a quitter or a front runner, but I see no path to him winning another title here. From the minute we hired Griffin, everything has turned to poop. I want to be more optimistic, but we’re not good enough as is, and have no legit avenue to getting better.
