Hey, 37 is the new 27 (is what I'm telling myself, staring down my 36th birthday.)

That was my first thought as well. Durant doesn't have long term NBA plans anymore.

Prefer he go to SA or Houston cuz Spo with Durant and a revamped Miami roster is one more team that’s probably better and ahead of us in the playoff pecking order.

How many 1sts for Bane? And Giannis couldn't fetch that, right media?

Very bad news for some of these fake Giannis trades the media is throwing around for clicks.

Feel like we have to trade Giannis now. If Bane goes for that we could get unprotected picks for the next 100 years and every Bucks fan could get like $25 million.

Woweeeeeee that’s a big deal. Is Memphis rebuilding, or are they rerouting those picks?

Orlando is going to be really good, but the development of Banchero will decide their ceiling.

Standard price. What's the direction in Memphis? Are they rebuilding?

That’s an insane haul for Desmond Bane. I like him a lot, and he clearly fits the Magic’s “window” so to speak, but good LORD lol. Nice to see the first big domino fall regardless.

Miami just had the most embarrassing playoff series ever. Sure, Durant helps, but they also lose players in the deal. They'd still be awful

If Memphis is going in re-build mode, call them up for the gunman and see if they'll dump him for Dame's salary, our 31' 1st and whatever else we have to scrap together. Probably not nearly enough, but Ja seems one bad IG story away from getting another lengthy suspension. Maybe you could convince them of a "damaged goods" price.

Yeah I never wanted to trade Giannis but if Bane is going for four unprotected and a pick swap, Giannis has to be worth 16 unprotected picks and four unprotected swaps.

Part of what Orlando have up was payment for the Grizzlies to take bad contracts.

Part of the reason Giannis is untradeable is no one has those assets.

Wait, isn’t that Phx 1st in ‘26 a swap?

If it is, I hate NBA media (Honestly, that statement is true regardless). A SWAP IS NOT A FIRST, so quit treating them the same when reporting deals.

Regardless if it's an overpay for Bane, a competitor just got a lot better, like the Knicks when they were doing this. Opportunity cost I guess.

Outside of value, I don't get why Memphis does it. They were potentially building towards near future contendership, now they take a big step back.

Not even me wants to dump Dame that bad, way too much risk. Also, Ja is a terrible pairing for Giannis.
