probably play Love smaller minutes vs GSW. IT- JR - Crowder - Lebron - TT does a better job of switching

Why keep Love if he's going to be in a reduced against the one opponent that really matters? (and one he continually struggles against). It could be that the offers are so meager it's not worth it but if there are two-player(s) available at basically any position it's likely worth it.

Hilariously terrible for Boston. I love it.

And am very happy the Bucks didn't get involved. Not that they could've topped that anyway.

I was gonna say how I feel bad for BOS fans right now. Then I remembered all the championships/success they've experienced between the Celts, Sox, Pats and Bruins. F them.

CLE made out, big time.

Cavs are the losers in this deal because they didn't get back Smart in the deal. Idiots. :)

(But seriously... that is an amazing deal for the Cavs, Angie blundered big time for not getting Butler/PG-13 for cheaper)

It's a solid deal for Cleveland, though I think it ultimately depends on whether that Brooklyn pick ends up in the top 3. If so, it's a great trade for Cleveland. If not, it's a questionable move which bottoms them into sub-mediocrity in a year. I don't know what else was out there, though, that would satisfy both the win-now mandate and a possible post-LeBron plan like this could.

I don't hate it for Boston. IT was due a huge raise that I wouldn't want to give him. Crowder is a nice piece, but with Hayward and Tatum on the roster, he's replaceable. The Brooklyn pick is huge, but Kyrie is a max talent who is young and will give you at least two seasons of finals contention. I think this sets them up to be competitive this season, and also enables them to wear the crown if LeBron heads west in 2018. That is, unless Giannis has something to say about it.

What would be wrong with Crowder matching up with Klay?

IT had an amazing season last year. 29 on .625 TS%. I don't think the Cavs even lose one thing that Kyrie gave them if IT can replicate that efficiency

Weird for Gobert to retweet that cause IT is now with Lebron and light years closer then Rudy to a title.

A month or so ago it sounded like Irving also wanted to be a hard ass and not make a commitment to whoever rented him - I wonder if that still stands ?? If he walks after next season that would be awesome / devastating. Any word on that ??

Like I.T. as a person, but there is only one Iverson --- don't know if I could trust his longevity, I'd flip him and keep the rest.

You want Crowder covering Durant so LeBron can go back to guarding Draymond and play the free safety role. It's also not the best use of his talent to be running around screens on the perimeter.

So who is up for trading Mid for Crowder + Brooklyn pick?

Yea, Kyrie/Hayward/Horford isnt exactly terrifying. I actually think they are a pretty poor fit together, atleast IT can actually pass the rock
