Yeah Monk at the 1 would be a great fit long term.

Thats old news, Gery first reported it mid January. Still I'd be intrigued in a deal centered around Bledsoe for Monk+Zeller, especially if we can dump Henson in the deal and maybe even Snell for some MKG etc. I like the fit for Monk here a lot, JET would be a perfect mentor.

Ahh my bad, I saw it was dated yesterday. I agree though. Carry on!

Just don't get the appeal of Monk. Volume shooter who had one good shooting year in college after historically being a pretty poor shooter throughout high school, with limited court vision and ball handling capabilities.

Could we somehow add Joe Johnson AND Vince Carter? My YMCA membership expired and I really want to watch some old guys chuck threes.

You plan on making a compelling free agent pitch to Lebron or something? Cuz I'm not gonna lie......that's straight up awful.

I'm not so sure I agree with your assessment. Snell is neutral, Brogdon probably evens out the value with taking on Delly and then Thon and Wilson are just cheap young guys for a rebuilding team

There's zero chance a rebuilding team takes 3 prospects locked up on multi-year rookie deals and a quality wing on a good contract for only the cost of 3 expiring veterans who have no future on the team anyways? Huh.

I think you have a different opinion of Snell than the Jazz would.

I was in favor of giving him the contract at the time but if I had my choice of deals to clear from the Bucks right now, he'd be it. Henson's deal is declining, Telly's will likely be off the books by mid-November, and Delly's runs a year less.

a couple of guys on the Jazz board seem okay with a Favors for Telly/Wilson deal.

I just think you're tremendously overvaluing cap room here. You think that they'd prefer to pay Snell $10 mil per year over paying Hood $13 mil per year? I do. Sefolosha is out for the season and Joe Johnson has been terrible this season and looks pretty much done. This trade makes us worse and leaves us with no guard depth at all. What's the ultimate goal of clearing all this cap room anyways?

Roster flexibility. Bring Parker back under the max deal he'll be getting. Not having to let Middleton and/or Bledsoe walk.

You don't think you can move Delly and/or Snell's contracts without attaching nearly every prospect on a cheap rookie deal that we have ? I'm only concerned about avoiding the repeater tax in 2020. If the owners are too cheap to dip into the luxury tax for one season then that's on them.

I don't think much of Thon and Wilson as prospects.

Sam Amick says the Nuggets are looking for a veteran PG.

Delly for Faried?

Terry Rozier had a triple-double in his first career start. Let's see what the Celtics want for him.
