Fyi makes policy severely relaxed. Obviously wasn't going to be as easy to enforce but surprised they put people on the jumbo Tron not wearing masks

Still too quiet. Need go fill that baby up... The outdoor area looked pretty rocking by OT.

I was shocked at the number of empty seats in the lower bowl for game 1. The three sideline sections across from me each had about 80 empty seats with giveaway t-shirts left on the back of the seat. A much higher percentage of upper level seats were filled.

I saw zero mask enforcement, unlike the last couple of months where the mask police were out in force. I expect more video screen mask messages from an organization that wants to convince health authorities that it is safe to increase capacity further.

It was nice to be able to stand and cheer. I never saw any statement that cheering was now allowed, but it was so prevalent at times that I assumed the seat bound policy was gone.

That's interesting. I'm somewhat surprised that the secondary prices jumped and seem to be holding after Game 1. I was banking on them dropping after escaping Game 1 and/or higher % saving their money for a potential Nets series. We'll see what happens as day goes on.

Watched second half of Game 1 on the plaza

Was surprised at how not crowded it was, maybe 30% of capacity filled out there.

Still need more than 2 beer vendors though. Lines were terrible.

Was fun to be out there in a spaced out crowd. Great energy. Every possession was live or die.

They limited capacity to 3,500 in the plaza. I don't know if they actually enforced it but they publicized it so that may have caused people to not go.

Eric (PA announcer) just said again on the radio the Bucks will go full capacity on June 15. If we make round 2 (I'm certainly not taking anything for granted) we'd open on the road but I believe games 3 and 4 would be before 6/15 but it depends on how early our first round ends.

I just bought tickets as am sick of looking eveey hour, lol. I should've bought Saturday during game as they prices went up afterwards & held. I'm very surprised. I guess Heat a good matchup but I was really banking on a week night 1st round matchup not commanding much. I guess the limited capacity is a factor. There are a ton of tickets out there though so don't know if people just eat the ticket or will just go if don't get their price. But looking forward to going!

Would be nice to get some energy from the crowd. I know that the Fiserv crowd was never good even before the pandemic, but people should be more excited now that they have live sports back after a year, right??

Yeah, im surprised too. Prices were in the gutter for a Saturday game. Only things i can think of are

1. It was a great day to be outside and people were just trying to enjoy that.

2. Lots of casuals were afraid of miami and didnt want to invest in a losing series.

I already got my seats for this one from the bucks but if theres a game 5 im going to wait until 20 minutes prior to tip. I bet the prices plunge.

Yeah, even Drink Wisconsibly was bad before the game. Took 5 minutes to get a beer, which isn't crazy, but from a business standpoint I don't understand why they don't have fast ordering- Whether it is beer/cash only lines, order from an app and do the phone ID check. Just a lot of wasted time back and forth with ordering/getting a credit card/getting tip sheet.

There was definitely a wait and see mentality from Bucks fans. Here and the "casuals". Hence low game 1 prices.

Wish there was more communication from the city on what it would take to reopen. "70% vaccinated and <200 new cases daily and we will remove all restrictions!" Feel there would be more social pressure from to get vaccinated if there were clear thresholds and we were close to getting there. Maybe its too simplistic, but feel we would be open by now if they was more of a vaccination push/better communication. Too many people in their 20's/30's were wait and see without a clear motivation to get the shot.

I agree with more clear direction. How hard would it be to put some goalposts up. But it looks like everything can open up as much as they want in WI starting next week. It will be up to businesses how much/how fast. I don't know if it's a city decision to wait until 6/15 or the Bucks. Could be, I think this has been mentioned here, getting enough staff in place. Businesses all over are having a hard time filling positions.

ETA, at Poto they still just have machines, no table games. They didn't even do limited table games like casinos all over the country. Now I'm sure they'd like to open those up again but no doubt many of the dealers have moved on and you have to go through a lot of training to do that job.

Tonights game is not sold out. Looking at TM at the regular, not resale, tickets I see tickets ranging from $70 for behind the basket uppers to $555 for midcourt lowers. Without fees. Even some lower corners are $555 (section 108, row 8). That's insane. 3 rows up (row 11) they are $271

Talking to someone with the bucks, it seemed like a lot of empties on Saturday were unsold tickets, and not no-shows. They probably have some algo saying it's worth it not fire-selling these tickets and in the end they probably make more money maintaining a high anchor on tickets, but it just looks horrible and makes for a bad game experience seeing all those shirts hanging on chairs.

ETA: does the 555 tickets include jockey club? Free drinks, food, and networking cost may be the difference there.

Not sure about the club but that makes sense. Sucks they are more concerned about anchor prices (you're right about that) than getting butts in the seats. I'm a lifelong fan and can afford to go to as many games as I want but I have to draw the line somewhere on prices.

The in-game hosts need to stop with the shirt shaming. So I but a $150 jersey and then they try and force me to wear a **** XL shirt that’s rough as sandpaper with a BMO sponsor stamped on it. **** off.

Could also be that many vaccinated people are still not 100% sure on going out to a crowded place right now. A lot of people are probably still thinking that it’s better to play it safe until vaccination rates increase a bit.

Yea, I was glad he did that. Stop with the peer pressure, we don’t all have the wear the same shirts like it’s a cult. You don’t see the fans in MSG being shamed into all wearing the same shirt, it’s stupid.
