LAC is punting this year and gets a great trade chip in Eric's contract next summer and a lower tax bill this year.

MEM moves off the 3 mil next year and can move either PG for lower asset. If they can't move one or both they could spoil that locker room.

if you're the clippers, why punt on the year? you dont have a first!! that doesn't make any sense.

they were a pretty strong team with PG as the sole superstar (i guess we are calling him that).

I shouldn't have said punt, but being rational with your tax bill. Downgrade the roster slightly and save 25 million on a team that's not winning it all if Lenard is taking the year off for his ACL.

My guess is Clippers are punting this season as they don't think Kawhi is going to be fit until next season so this trade saves them $30M in a season that is going no where for them. Then they buy him out for the $3M guaranteed next year.

Clippers aren't punting the season. They nearly made the finals without Kawhi. Wouldn't mind getting Rondo or Pat Bev if they get bought out.

Clippers improved a lot with this. Cant understand guys who dont understand that.

Bledsoe was not #3 guy we needed. But he is much much better than this Rondo and Beverley. Cmon guys.

Offcourse, Rondo or Bev would be bench insurance for us. Bledsoe will be #3 for Clippers
