If it is, I hate NBA media (Honestly, that statement is true regardless). A SWAP IS NOT A FIRST, so quit treating them the same when reporting deals.
Yup, this drives me nuts too.

Probably not nearly enough, but Ja seems one bad IG story away from getting another lengthy suspension. Maybe you could convince them of a "damaged goods" price.

Not even me wants to dump Dame that bad, way too much risk. Also, Ja is a terrible pairing for Giannis.

We already have a wild card with a criminal record who's much cheaper. But if Haslam's reading the board, you piqued his interest.

Regardless of Bane being a good player and fitting a window, that price tag is so bad. Weltmann and senior advisor Hammond, a truly remarkable tenure down there. Wheels in the sky keep on turning ..

I know the pairing isn't great, just trying to think of distressed assets around the league we can potentially buy low on. There aren't many great options, so it might just be about getting as much talent around Giannis as possible.
TBH not even a big Ja fan, moreso just spit balling ideas outloud.
German Athens wrote:That deal is the Jrue deal. 3 1sts, and 2 swaps, except one of those picks is guaranteed to be a mid-first.
Edit:
I suppose this could be 4 1sts, since orl still has #25 this year, the stepien rule isn’t triggered if they trade their own ‘26 1st. That would then be the Orlando ‘26 1st with the Phx swap rights.
But I would label that as 4 1sts and 2 swaps, so I guess I have no idea what this trade actually is right now.
