Why not sign young guys coming off their rookie deals with upside? I like it for us because they likely won't pick as high in the lottery next year.
There's going to be multiple teams willing to deal value for an expiring at the deadline. Wonder if Ingram and Deng for Redick works?
That deal is crazy like a fox

I don't see it happening even at the deadline. Let's see how the next week goes

I said 3 years for players you expect to have a break out year...
Everybody knows what JJ is.
Try better next time

Players like 26 year old Isaiah Canaan and 28 year old Michael Beasley, you mean?

Yeah, 26 was Kyle Lowry's break out year.
So you have a problem with their age ?
3 year deal cheap deals at their prime is fine.
Snell is nearly 26

I'm gunna take a swing in the dark and say Beasley to Cleveland for $1 million.

Re: ATL - PG13 to Thunder
Good for Joe but paying 33 year old Ingles $14+ million is going to look bad

Ainge striking out on all the superstars and giving Gallinari 4-yrs $100 mil would be pretty funny.

I disagree with your philosophy of 3 year deals for guys who shouldn't get 3 year deals. But I didn't realize you thought Canaan was the next Lowry. That's... amazing.
Also, since we're just throwing random players into it like Snell, I'll add that Michael Carter-Williams is nearly 26. What kind of deal did he just get?

I wonder if he can slim back down a bit as he ages. Skinny Joe moved a lot quicker.

Why would he do that when he could sign Canaan for 3 years/5 million?
Okay, I'll stop now.
