The fan experience is pretty good. 1000 times more fun with 9,000 fans. RS games with 3,400 fans was a welcome novelty but kind of felt like watching from another room. Not something I would want to do for a full schedule. it is sooooo much better with 9,000 fans. Almost everyone in the upper level seems to be avid and knowledgeable if you discount some homerism moaning.
I find ordering food through the app to be a pain and somewhat unnecessary. Contactless is safer for the concessionaire workers, but they had to add new staff to help you find your order, which exposes those facilitators to close contact, so I don't see it helping much big picture. They have opened some beer/cocktail only walk-up stations that had short lines.
Short rest room lines (zero social distancing for those who find that important).
In many ways, the experience is much more enjoyable without dance squads, air-bango races, t-shirt tosses, et al. That's just me.
The watch party outside adds to the atmosphere.
Agree with everything here. Felt like a real solid regular season level crowd at worst.
Food was a pain and I skipped it. I was a little surprised that 2 domestic pint cans with a 18% tip was like $30. That seems a little steep. It wasn't as bad outside, half that maybe.
Masks were not enforced really. I wore mine when left seat but in seat no issues.
I really enjoyed no, to very limited, bathroom waits and pro shop not being jammed packed.
Fun time and felt good to be back .
