Awesome

I've watched 13 of the 20. From what I understand it wraps up well. I'm enjoying it
Just finished it. Really enjoyed it. Things do wrap up. While I would have enjoyed more seasons I'd rather have it like this than being dragged out forever like virtually every other show.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Really? I'm not sure why they need a remake, Candyman is a great movie. This looks the 2005 Boogeyman, but add in some social commentary.
Edit: Didnt realize it's a sequel. I still think the trailer makes it look like a crappy average horror.

Trailer is giving me Event Horizon, Sam Neil vibes. Yayah is definitely breaking bad.

But, I've done the first 5 episodes the last few days and so far I'd give it a thumbs up. There's been some change up instead of doing the same thing over and over like happened the first few seasons. We'll see how the last 5 go
I’m convinced the show is just a vehicle to get prolonged close up shots of Elisabeth Moss looking really angry.
Well I finished the season last night with no NBA on. Like I said overall I was glad they shook it up. However, the last episode or two were just so far fetched and unbelievable that it again left me rolling my eyes. So my summary, first 5 episodes were pretty good. Last five, especially the big events of the finale were so unrealistic that it was just stupid. Hard to believe a show of this stature would let that happen.
It is just as rudderless and redundant as The Walking Dead became. Like, “obviously this is our most successful show, we have to keep it going by any means necessary. Invent scarier zombies/reasons of angry close ups, now!”
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

The original Candyman was filled with social commentary.

That trailer reveals way too much.

I'm gonna watch it. Cast seems good, Chase wrote and directed. Not Fade Away was pretty good. Why not?
I did laugh the first time I saw Liotta.
Liotta when his agent tells him about a mafia movie casting:

Absolutely. Good cast, it's definitely worth a watch.
I never decide whether to watch something based on trailers. I don't even bother watching them. They either give away too much of the plot or they are nothing like the actual movie.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Final season of Bosch was very, very good. Can't wait to see what's next for him, Maddie and Money.

Re: OT: TV and Movies (With Spoilers)
The original Candyman absolutely destroyed me as a kid. Made it worse that I was staying at families house in tiny Iron Mountain Michigan, an already terribly haunted looking place with mirrors everywhere.

Re: OT: TV and Movies (With Spoilers)
This excites me! The older Zorro movies and even the Banderas ones were fun to watch as a kid.
