Other than the MVP and the ALL NBA teams selection, who gives a fck anyway about the ROY, the MIP etc?

They do at the end, there was a huge battle between 76ers and Bucks fans about ROY, crazy talks and analysis but now it all died out, people dont care about awards, not to mention most of it was spoiled.

givem the award then.. MCW was rookie of the year.. Hooray!!

I understand what you mean but for some people salaries depend on it, like ALL NBA for example. Some others take it as recognition and boosts their value, never underestimate what Media awards can do for one player.

Not only that but the majority are indifferent about the show since the season ended months ago.NBA really messed this up.

Oh I disagree. I think the awards show is an awesome idea and I'm fine with them doing it after the playoffs. It's a nice final close to the season. Just don't like that they're revealing some of the winners before the show.

Dont get me wrong i like the show idea but i think it should've been done sooner. its weird to know MVP after the draft.

Awesome for Giannis. Still annoys me one armed Bogut never got his recognition.

Yes. He was right up there with Howard in terms of the best defensive 5 in the league.

Yeah Bogut would have been viewed differently if he had both arms. He was incredible before going down that season

So what held him back, scoring ?

His arm fell off and then the rest of his body followed suit. It's a sore spot for many here, just youtube it.

Kinda dumb that he didnt make all defense but was All NBA third team. Like, the whole reason he was one of the best centers in the league was because of his defense

When was the last time we had ANY off-season accolades like this? This is why I just disregard all of the negativity (Brogdon, top 3 worst ROY ever crap on that thread),etc. Unless you're just plain blind, or have a chronic negative outlook on everything, you'd have to be a moron, to not acknowledge that the Bucks' trajectory as a franchise and team, are finally pointing upwards. I'm stoked. Go Bucks.
