Boston v Cavs ECF should be pretty juicy now.

Boston got a lot flashier but they lost all their heart and glue this offseason. At least they have Stevens going for them.

I guess I'm in the minority because I hate IT as a player and think he got lucky to have his flaws reduced by Stevens system. I think the Cavaliers took a big step back this year (which is what matters) and will be stuck with a maxed out aging IT.

Not the best use of resources for the Celtics but they at least don't have to over pay Thomas.

Not sure why people are just penciling in Boston for the ECF.

Yeah, they should be able to have a little closer 5 game series this season.

not gonna deny that. depends on what they do with that pick as to whether they could make it 6 tho. that's a fairly massive chip

That's a good way of putting it. Kelly O and Bradley were really good for them. I still think they are better than last year tho. A closing lineup of Kyrie/Smart/Hayward/Morris/Horford is really really good. Really will come down to what they can get out of Rozier/Brown/Tatum off the bench.

Does Cleveland going after Noel make sense at all now? Obviously have to trade Thompson if they did.

Congratulations Cleveland! Please be stupid and max out IT next summer, or maybe he bolts? I think the better move for Ainge would have been to keep that pick and take less for IT. Glad he did it though.
Bucks really need to be patient and quit making stupid moves overpaying marginal players. Could be contending for the East in a few years if Lebron leaves. Could be 3rd in the East by default.

One of the best NCAA coaches of all time (Kryzewski) and one of the best NBA coaches of all time (Popovich) disagree with you.

Anyone have a good theory that might explain why BOS thinks this is a good deal for them? Can anyone "sell" this from BOS's perspective? OR is it unanimously panned?

ETA I guess everyone said BOS was good but needed a star to take it to the next level so this is their thinking- Kyrie is that star? Idk.

I prefer to read this post as exquisite shade-throwing at Coach Krzyadfjkajdfadjffghski whether that was the intention or not.

Props to the Bucks for not trying to match an offer. Would have taken Middleton, Jabari, Thon and a 1st pretty much according to this

Incredible deal for Cleveland. Like GOS said, adding Crowder is beneficial to their matchup with GS.

Aside from Hayward, I don't like what Boston has done this offseason.
