Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Like the new additions, but I’m feeling greedy. Any pickups out there that can help us further?

I'm not a betting man, but the odds Middleton is back with the bucks this time next year is not 0. All will depend on if the Wiz can move him and now much he wants his bird rights.

Also depends on how he gets moved. Say he gets moved to POR in some type of salary dump move for his expiring.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Wrong Nance. I'd have rather just promoted Ellenson. Better rebounder, offensive player. Could use that. Nance even has some defensive questions to make me not get this especially.

Nance had a career high 8 points against the Bucks earlier this year

You know how in Face Off where Cage/Travolta goes to the gnarly island prison and is fitted in magnetic shoes and then an electrified charge is activated and effectively bolts all prisoners to the floor? Yes, very cool, I know, but also illustrative of Hank Ellenson's mobility. I've seen this movie (Face Off) and I don't want it relived on a nightly basis on the Fiserv Forum floor (not electrified?), Jimmy Haslem's weekness for carceral visitors not with standing.

Better than Robbins. But worse than any other big man currently in the NBA

Maybe Midds ends up on a playoff team next season after a buyout but I’m fairly certain that will be his last season. He’s made a ton of money, won a ring, won a gold medal, Bucks should retire his jersey, and doesn’t seem to enjoy the grind of the regular season. Even if his minutes are limited, he still has to suit up regularly enough to have chemistry with his teammates and get in game shape to contribute in the playoffs. And while he was able to absolutely deliver last year in the first round, it took such a toll that he needed double ankle surgery.

He could obviously find teams that would pay him a portion of the MLE hoping he could give them scoring off the bench offense in the playoffs but he’s also go to want to do that and the vibes recently seem like he might be fine riding off into the sunset.

Nance made 3 baskets against that Bucks that night. He has only made 3 other baskets in his NBA career.

I would be pretty difficult for Middleton to turn down his $33-million player option for next season. If I was Washington I would hold onto him just in case I need his contract to make a trade. The only way I can see Washington letting him go early in the season is if he takes a significant hair cut. No reason for that imo.

Nance's deal is a 2 year 2 way. I like those for younger players, but Pete is already 25. He can really shoot it, but I wonder about the rest of his game. He is agile.

Agreed. I think Khris' days of significant haircuts are behind him.

usually those are non guaranteed as anyways. more leverage for the bucks and agent can say it's two years.

It's so we can recruit Larry Nance Jr. to sign for the vet minimum in the offseason right? Bucks out here playing the long game.

So, whatever happened with DSJ? I know he briefly went overseas after not playing for the Herd. If they're not going to give Rollins the last active roster spot, I wouldn't mind taking a flier on Smith.
