BUCKS 2 awards-0 FOR SIXERS.

LETS **** GOO.

I don't think Sixers fans will give a **** if the team wins in the future. Likewise I won't give a **** about Giannis winning this if we are contending.

Both guys well deserved winners none the less. Cool to see.

Yes. He was right up there with Howard in terms of the best defensive 5 in the league.

So what held him back, scoring ?

Bogut transformed into a legit 20/10/3 guy in the months before his injury, he was amazing.

He was a top 2 center in the league. That injury destroyed him. He was a jumper away from superstardom.

Bogut's injury will forever haunt me, not just for how gruesome it was but also because I honestly believe we could of competed with Boston who would take the Lakers to 7 games before losing in the finals that year. I had already bought my playoff tickets and probably would of went to every postseason game I could of afforded, god damn Amare Stoudemire. Remember that Bogut dunk on Big Baby? That series would of been epic.

Bogut was giving Tim Duncan a run for his money the year he got hurt. Really a shame what happened to him.

Do we remember when Bogut broke some random Warriors players face with his off hand with a massive dunk on a roll to the basket?

Back in those days GS could barely fill out a lineup they had so many injuries. Poor old Nellie.

Oh jeez, don't get me wrong, FTD Bogut was an absolute defensive monster, but the dude was nowhere near close to a "superstar". Giannis is the first true superstar we've had in decades.

All-NBA is pretty damn close to a superstar.

Ask DeAndre :lift:.

So Giannis got 7 5th place votes in the MVP race. Expect that number to climb in the coming years. By the way, KD only got 2 votes..

Giannis should have recorded something to be played in case he won MIP. I know he had his obligations abroad, but it would have been nice to see him at the awards ceremony in some form.
