Chad Ford must disagree with DX having Giles at 26 right now.

I saw KY play a lot this past year and didn't see anything close to a mid range touch much less 3 point range, I don't know what he did in an empty gymn but just not exciting to me, but really none of these 5's are.

Did you see KAT do it, AD?
No green lights for bigs in Kentucky...

Towns shot 80%+ from the line and had a history of three point shooting coming in, so he definitely did.

You're also using two prospects considered head and shoulders above everyone else in their class. You can't simply draw a parallel like that because they went to Kentucky. I don't see Willie Cauley Stein launching triples.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we traded up to get Mitchell.

Actually Towns did shoot from outside at KY, not a ton, but had a nice looking shot....plus he is bigger than 6'9".

yep 6'10.5"
+1.5" height
+0.5" wingspsn
-2.0" vertical
so basically a wash.

and its #1 overall vs #17, gonna get a bit less, lol

Collins would be dreamy though.

Mitchell has some D-Wade lite qualities if you ask me. Great length, great motor, decent shooter. Sign me up.

Celtics acquiring Porzingis and Hayward is how ancient scripture predicted the race war to start.

Only guys I'd move up for are DS Jr. and Nkilitina. Zach Collins would be acceptable, but I'd prefer to stay put and take Patton or Leaf then. I like Mitchell, but there are too many questions with his lack of height for a 2, inability to run a team for a 1, his unbridled aggressiveness, and a shot that's only decent. Would only take him if he falls, not give up something extra to get him.

I'd love to move up to get Ntilikina or Mitchell. But I hate giving away future 1sts.

I thought it, didn't want to be the first to say it. I mean it is Boston.

Yeah, we ought to try to acquire extra 1sts for a change, not limit ourselves always to 1 or less. This method hasn't worked for almost 25 years.
