Jabari Barkley? (Stretch for a # of reasons. Hyperbole, relax Jabroni-ites.) Can someone repost the image of Barkley's nicknames from last night's 84' documentary on NBATV? Those were great. Image

Too much of a Wiggins drumbeat by a front office who seems to shrewd to let that on sitting at #3, especially when there is a decent chance he would fall to them anyway.

In any event, I would be ecstatic if Wiggins went #1, to Cleveland, Philly, or whomever.

Also, at this point, Exum is completely off my board at 2. No way I could pass on Parker for him. If we had 3 and Embiid and Parker were off the board, I may not be totally against taking him over WIggins, but even so, he would probably be off my board at 3 too. But then he'd be almost a lock for me at #4. That's his sweet spot on the draft board to me.

Do we know what day exactly Wiggins is working out for us this week?

Gonna be an exciting day. Hopefully he convinces the Bucks to not pass on him. Confident he will with how hard he's been working on his jumper this offseason to go along with the already present athleticism.

I already believe that Wiggins will become a very good shooter. I think those concerns will be for naught with him.

I'm hoping he has a great workout too, while Jabari has a crap showing. Tho if it's true that Wiggins' camp prefers PHI, maybe he'll purposely look like garbage, just so we don't take him.

Players entering drafts are always going to have a preference. Look at Clinton-Dix. He was banking on going to Philly one spot after us to play with his old coach from Alabama, but we took him. He showed obvious disappointment on draft night. Look at it now, he's in camp, with the other players, and everything is forgotten.

Wiggins might prefer Philly entering the draft, but once we take him and camp starts up, it's going to be moot and forgotten.

If we land Exum just so we can move Knight to the 2, I am going to be sick. If we want a PG with a near elite first step, go and get Jeremy Lin. We cannot pass on Embiid/Parker/Wiggins.

Sick of hearing about Exum's first step -- Lin's is probably better and he has higher bball IQ.

I get that your saying that because you want Wiggins over Jabari but will just say that if it's the opposite and Jabari kills in the workout and Wiggins can't hit his jumper to save his life you cant go back and say the Bucks shouldn't put much stock into workouts and just go off the tape to try and push up Wiggins. I like them both btw don't really have a big prefrence

could not agree more. if we draft exum, we'd be digging a bigger whole for getting an arena built

That's a bit far fetched. Hammond's had interest in Exum this whole time, not solely because the team thinks that Knight isn't suited for the point but because they like him as a prospect on his own. Bone doesn't draft based on need, he goes BPA.

+Simultaneously Ford threw out the Kings interest in making a possible deal of Knight for #8, which seems to imply that the Bucks would consider it.

Hammond and Co. will probably be watching from the Cousins Center, via Skype. :-?

Embiid - Defensive monster, Overhyped offense and will get pushed around in the NBA. Bucks don't need him they have Sanders.
Wiggins - Obviously doesn't want to go to the Bucks. Athlete, good for defense but not an elite offensive weapon.
Parker - Obvious offensive skills and super-star caliber, will probably stay with Milwaukee for the long-term.

Obvious pick = Parker

The draft has never taken so long and felt so far away. I need it to be June 26.

Also I hate all of you, Chad Ford, and whoever else who have given me hope that Cleveland may actually not take Embiid at #1. I know at the end of the day he is absolutely going to be the pick, but I'm letting you guys give me the hope that he jussssst mayyyy nottttt, and it's just setting myself up for disappointment. Thankfully, I love Jabari as a prospect so he would be a great consolation prize at least. Wiggins scares the bejeberz out of me, but the hype would at least excite me.

I just connected dots when finding this post to quote it. Originally I was simply going to say that Lasry and Edens somehow told ESBF at the McGillycuddy's viewing party that they aren't drafting anyone that doesn't want to be in Milwaukee.

This led to ESBF speculating that it was Exum, but this could spell that it's actually Wiggins that doesn't want to be here. That would explain the lack of his name being associated with the Bucks @ 2 from Ford, until now, with the workout looming.

Wiggins' agent has been saying all sorts of stuff but the only thing I've actually heard from Wiggins mouth is that it doesn't matter who drafts him.

edit: Apparently it's not the Ford video.

I've also heard Wiggins say that he would play wherever. It was the day before the lottery, I believe. I think it's clear that he will play for the Bucks, even though he probably prefers to go #1 or to Philly.

The Bucks wouldn't be going thru the workout process if that was the definite case. The media would be all over that, too, ala Joakim Noah. It was reported that Wiggins camp prefers Philly. There's been nothing about him not wanting to go to Milwaukee.
