Lost Tucker, trying to get rid of CoJo, rumours of Lowry taking $27m 3yrs..

This all adds up to them getting a bit worse and staying under the luxury tax line. So they're content with being just 'good' and not going all out to try and compete then.

We heard all this talk about teams valuing cap space more than ever for 2018, but at the end of the day, all these massive contracts just prove that most clubs would rather severely overpay these guys rather than lose them for nothing.

is there any resource where each team's initial cap space was listed at 7/1 00:00? Something to do with Snell's possible offers which led our brilliant FO to wrap him instead of letting him bring an offer

We did it again... We outbid ourselves.
We refuse to let "our precious' explore the market.
This one trick pony though has the most precious and modern trick under his sleeve. So he is the least favourable to become negative. But you never know, sometimes the pony can't perform his trick for a whole year and could become negative quickly. I remember a similar pony ... his name was Telly. As long as his trick is there this contract will look good.

Think it is way, way off value wise for Adams.

Yeah, we're giving up too much. Dude's gotta be one of if not the most overrated player(s) in the league.

You're right. No one ever knows. I can remember a similar pony too...his name was Monroe. After one year he was a disastrous fit & needed to be moved at any cost. One year later he was one of the most valuable players on a playoff team who maybe has value as a still productive expiring contract. What is to say Telly doesn't see a similar year two resurgence with hopefully a more consistent & clearly defined role?

I wish the Bucks weren't one of those short-sighted teams last off-season, so they could've taken advantage of this and gotten some good players at a bargain.

Why the timberwolves spend the rest of their money on a non shooting big I have no idea....

They could've been deadly signing a guy like Patrick Patterson

Thibs needs to badly improve the Wolves defense and Gibson knows that defensive scheme well.

Woah Lowry for 3/100. No thanks!

Lowry and Ibaka - 50M for both.

Championship (of the treadmill).
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

I thought a 3yr/27 mil contract made no sense for Lowry.

This is the other extreme, makes no sense for the Raptors.

Toronto already found their ceiling last year. Guess they can't do a lot other than bring that core back for 3 years and then blow it up.

That Porter tweet doesn't say he signed an offer sheet yet. If Washington max him they're in the same position as Toronto. I guess I'd do whatever Wall wants though. If he walks then try and dump Mahinmi and Gortat somewhere to free up cap space.

I guess we'd offer a contract early but if anyone were to do this to us with Jabari next year, I'd let him walk with no hesitation.

Cavs had a deal in place to send out Irving and bring back George (with extension) and Bledsoe.

LeBron nixed it. As much crap as I have given "GM LeBron" this was a smart move.
