Ron Swanson wrote:There's absolutely no reason why Embiid can't be a perfect fit with Simmons though, so I'm not absolving him of fault in this whole situation. I think both guys want to have the ball in their hands and if anything, Simmons is the guy who has actually sacrificed his usage and shots a bit for the betterment of the team. Embiid is the guy who wants his post-ups and his fadeaway jumpers...

I agree that both definitely could work together. To me Simmons just isn't that good yet on offense. He may never be. Also he's a weird player to build around if he's never going to add a jumper.

He runs hot and cold defensively, too.

I think the fact that Simmons seemingly refuses to take jumpers is the bigger issue than him not having one. Speaks volumes about his attitude, in my opinion.

Both Embiid and Simmons have attitude issues that’s gonna make it harder to win. Plus Embiid’s body is a ticking time bomb, eventually he’s going to get hurt again in a major way.

The Raptors not giving Jonas V a ring just seems wrong. Dude didn’t ask to be traded and seemed like a fan favorite. I’d at least give him some type of ring for being such a big part of that team.

I agree Toronto not giving those former players rings is a bad look but it's pretty weird they'd get them anyway. Not like they were on the team when they won the title.

Corey Joseph and Trevor Ariza are both absolutely shot. Two terrible deals the Kings just signed.

It is pretty remarkable that by the time Trevor Ariza retires, he'll have made over $110 million in career earnings.

The Ariza deal made zero sense from the get go. They had better options at the F spot already on the roster. But more so because he was an absolute dog last season with Phoenix and only slightly better with the Wiz. He took not giving a **** and collecting a check to a paid Tim Thomas level.

FWIW if we won last year I would have leaned towards giving Henson a ring.

I'd give him one when we win THIS year.

How about Larry Sanders, Spencer Hawes, or Jodie Meeks? They were on the payroll.

Stuck at the airport and trying to watch the Cavs/Knicks. My goodness, it's just embarrassing. No one should have to suffer through this.

OG and RHJ combined for 39/13/4. Talk about a dynamic duo.

Luka not going #1 was the dumbest in the moment draft decision of all time. Absurd he didn’t go #1.

He is a top 5 player in the league at 20.

The Suns even had Kokoskov, I actually thought that meant they would take him #1.

Based on the schedule, it is entirely plausible that Bucks win the next 9 games.

The middleton takes will be glorious if that happens. :)

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.
