I think this is the issue. I’ve watched a few Suns games, and he’s a shell of where he was two years ago. The brilliance will still come in spurts, but his body looks slow. He’s lost just enough of the NBA elite fast twitch to age.

Think he’s reached that Gary Payton 2004 point in his career. He looks the same physically as prime Chris Paul. But he’s not.

Mexico City isn't as bad as some make it out to be and a lot of money there can go a long way, but it's definitely a different world than what any of these guys would know so the infrastructure of that franchise would have to be completely different than normal. I think it would be successful amongst the fans though, much like the potential NFL team that would exist there.

Yeah his legs look gone, he's getting by on guile at this point. He doesn't seem to be really even looking for his signature mid range shots anymore. He's 37 so not exactly a shocking development. Now I should say he was good late yesterday so he can still dial it up on short stints.

I'm curious what happens this summer. The only guaranteed money on this deal is half next seasons salary. So an easy out if the new owner chooses that path. Paul loves to play but he's also a proud guy so if he feels like he's declining it wouldn't shock me if he just retired.

Hot Magic try to beat Boston again and Celtics without Tatum (personal reasons)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Boston really flirting with two losses in two games at home against Orlando?

We have literally stumbled into first place on the standings. It doesn't feel like we're the number one team in the league right now

Stunned that the Celtics having like 6 of their main rotation guys shooting over 45% from 3 wasn’t sustainable.

That's the whole "82 games" theme we talk about. And many ignore. Teams go through bad stretches. They have injuries. Every team. EVERY team.

Orlando becoming a problem as they now start to figure it out. Six-game winning streak, and all against good teams.

They are an awkward team to play against with all of their size

Plus, they'll get even bigger soon. Kevon Harris played 19 minutes today in their win over the Celtics. He'll soon be replaced in their rotation by Wendell Carter.

People get so caught up in the moment.

-After a few games this season there were GB threads saying the Bucks have a chance at 82-0 and Giannis was for sure going to be -MVP.
-Then it was the Celtics are the team to beat and Tatum is going to be MVP no matter what.

We are barely 1/3rd of the way through the season, slow down. We don't know who the MVP is yet because a lot will change.

This time last year the Celtics and Warriors were thought to be lucky for a play-in and both made it to the Finals. It's ok to make predictions but for anyone to say they know for sure ---------- is the MVP based on (approximately) 30 games is ridiculous.

The Warriors were at one point 21-5 last season
