I enjoyed Presumed Innocent, but uh.....how on earth do you milk another season out of this story?

Deadpool & Wolverine was fun. Pitting it as some saviour movie to save the MCU and underdo so much of that crap they have done recently is very unfair. Just go in with a mindset to have a laugh and a bit of fun and you'll enjoy it. The Metacritic rating being down with Thor 2 etc is ridiculous, very funny, entertaining watch and i'm glad they did it. Go with the audience reviews on this one.

There was a sequel to the original novel in 2010 called Innocent.

Here's the synopsis.

Spoiler:

In the opening prologue of Innocent, set in 2008 and narrated by Sabich's son Nat, Rusty has been sitting with his dead wife Barbara for nearly a full day. According to Rusty, she was dead when he woke up in the morning; he believes it was due to natural causes, but complications arise because he had been previously accused of murder in the death of his colleague Carolyn Polhemus twenty-two years ago.

As it turns out, Rusty, who is now the Chief Judge of the State Court of Appeals for the Third Appellate District and celebrated his 60th birthday in 2007, has again had an extramarital affair, this time with his senior law clerk, Anna Vostic. Because Molto, now acting prosecuting attorney for Kindle County, was unable to prove Sabich's guilt in the murder of Polhemus, he is hesitant to pursue Sabich for the death of Barbara, but allows his chief deputy, Jim Brand, to quietly investigate. Eventually, the investigation yields enough evidence to once again indict Sabich for murder, setting up another courtroom confrontation between Molto, Stern, and Sabich.

Guessing it's gonna be an alternate universe variant of Tony where he becomes Doom or something, and they're doing this reveal to generate buzz but there'll be a different Doom as the "real" version who is the next big bad in the MCU.

But yeah if that's not the case and RDJ truly is just playing Doom (not just some secondary variant to set up the real one), wow is that dumb and desperate.

Kang movie has been canceled and been replaced with Avengers Doomsday (which is supposedly when RDJ will make his initial appearance but I'd assume he's gonna be in an end credit scene for F4 before that)

He's reportedly signed for 2 Avengers movies. How that ends up playing out we'll see.

Enjoyed it a lot. The reboot wasn't quite the same but

Feels like a desperate move to bring him back. But if it was to try and save the franchise, making up a reason to bring him as Stark back would have been easier. So I’m going to wait and see and hope it is well thought out

I mean, if you're adapting the Marvel comic book universe, not sure what it would be without repurposing popular characters for gimmick plots.

Not a fan of having the same actor play different roles in the same universe personally. Especially one that is such an integral piece like Jr

I’d prefer they make good movies. If RDJ helps them do that, I don’t really care that he’s back as a new character.
