We ask this every year, but what would it take to get McCollum? He's like a mix of Brogdon and Wes Mathews. I doubt we have what it takes to make it happen, but if you can add him w/o giving up too much we'd be set.
I still like Lillard more as a player, but he'd have to play off-ball too much with Giannis.

I don't know the answer for sure, but I will say based on the trade board, I don't know if there were two players that had more similar value ever than pre-paid Middleton and paid Mocollum. So the question might be what would you want for Middleton if he was on a 2 year 55M deal

Which is comical given you're like 5 days removed from suggesting a trade that replaces an all NBA defender in Bledsoe with Evan Fournier.
That deal also brought in Bamba, a defensive dynamo. Also, Founier defends better than Kennard. Hill and Donte are excellent defensive PGs.
Bledsoe for Fournier and Bamba. That's not a great trade for a team that's trying to win now.
Fournier is scoring 19 ppg on 60% True Shooting. He'd give us another serious offensive option, and his scoring style fits our offense perfectly. Bamba improves the backup center position.
You'd have to be seriously confident in playoff Bledsoe not to consider this. I'm not super confident in playoff Bledsoe, but I'm super confident in George Hill.

Lol at Bamba being a "defensive dynamo." If he was ACTUALLY a defensive dynamo, he'd be playing more than he is specifically with Vuc's struggles. He has promise, he's not one at current.
You can't have it both ways. Kennard would never touch the floor because of his supposed defensive ability, but let's hand minutes to Fournier because we can definitely hide him because of our great defensive point guards. You're all over the map.
But hey, all we need is Evan Fournier and his efficient 42.7TS% in the playoffs last year to fix our half court offensive woes when things slow down!

Are you super confident in playoff Fournier and Bamba? I'm not sure Bamba would get minutes on this Bucks team.
I've always liked Fournier, too. I'd take him. But not for Bledsoe who is the best perimeter defender on the team and the closest we have to a pure PG.
Lastly, Hill is incredibly effective in his current role. Let's not change that.

"If" CJ were to be traded I'd actually wager the number one priority would be to shed salary and in lew of just trying to grab as many assets as possible imo. Might have to take on a extra bad contract from Portland (havent looked but I'd assume they have them)
Bledsoe, Ersan and the Indy pick might actually do it but Bledsoe would probably have to be going to a 3rd team

Think it would need to be the opposite

CJ is good, and might actually be better with less need to rely on him. He can often have those 5-14 games, like MIddleton, but he'd be awesome as a 2a/b kind of guy with a smaller role.

Would be real awkward with Hill and Sexton on the same team again.

This is an awful idea.
Why would we actively try to destroy our league best defense. Collin Sexton is an abortion.

Bucks still have 11 games against the Heat/76ers/Celtics and Raptors. There are 4 in April when the Bucks could/should have the 1 seed wrapped up. Could be interesting if they try playing the seeding game on when and who they rest players against.

No combination of assets on the Bucks (that you would be willing to trade) appeals to this Blazer fan.
Don’t think we are good trading partners at this time.
MIL might consider a move for Malik Beasley maybe?

As much as I despise the Vile Morris Twins (r), they are definition hate'em when they're on the opposition, love'em if they're in your colors.

Re: Bucks News, Trades, Transactions - CP3/Gallo trade idea pg.81
I think breaking up our core is extremely risky and the potential gains from any trade are minimal. Bledsoe, Hill, DDV, Matthews, Middleton, Connaughton, Giannis, Thanos, Ersan, Brook, and Robin would all create holes if we lose them. So my question is who is the best player we can get for any combination of Wilson, Bender, Korver, Brown, and two 1sts. I think we could get Covington (might have to throw in Connaughton to make the salaries work).
