People who want to see fist fights in non combat sports are weird, the ufc is on 3-4 times a month and it has all the violence and **** talking you need.
Is it really weird though? Fighting has been one of the most popular entertainments throughout human history. Mixing it in with other sports is a bonus, two entertainments for the price of one. And mixing it in with sports where players are built like superhuman fighters is double appealing for the fans.
To me it is, especially with all the availability of super humans who actually know how to fight, beating the hell out of each other for 15-25 minutes. I’m a very casual boxing fan and I watch every ufc ppv and even some of their fight nights and it’s all extremely entertaining.
I like competitive and intense games, pushing and shoving is part of it and I don’t mind it at all, **** talkers like draymond and Beverly make games fun. But I don’t start salivating when one of the best players ever and a young player trying to establish himself in the league, has a chance to roll around on the floor for 5 seconds before it’s broken up.
