Al Horford getting away with 2 fouls while Looney is called for touch fouls just shows what the refs want tonight.

Whilst the eventual D was kinda fine, I did giggle that the first clip they showed of the Celtics smothering Curry was Brown being right up on him and then stepping back and letting him easily get the ball.

Yes, he frequently travels.

He also gets away with a lot of fouls (on block attempts). This one is sort of a wash because of the 15 times a game opponents flop, as well as the 10 times he gets shoved and hacked and it goes uncalled.

Maybe I'm a homer but I don't think Giannis travels anymore than anyone else in the league. Difference is that extra half step most player take is an extra 4-6 feet on a drive. Getting a 8% return on a million dollars is looks better than getting 8% on a dollar. Maybe it's unfair that Giannis gets that much of an advantage but I think he follows current rules.

Considering all the over the top complaining about fouls that Grant Williams does, I cannot believe he seemed to just accept getting called for Payton tripping over his own feet.

I wish more coaches would ride players with fouls. Like 1. It makes mathematical sense - you end up playing them the most minutes possible 2. Refs are less likely to call the fifth and sixth so you actually get an advantage

That Poole air ball trying to get a 2 for 1 was one of the worst shots you will ever see.

All I can imagine Udoka legitimately saying to the refs there is "it's just really frustrating that my player would clearly foul someone in that situation".

That was the worst free throw I've ever seen from Steph

That sort of talk is an easy T for Mark Davis

Boston bailed them out so badly gifting them 3 free throws out of nowhere and they missed 2. Brutal.

Ended up being a dumb foul on Poole but Smart shoves him first. So annoying how they've continually gotten away with that ****

Poole has been a disaster.

Modern NBA teams can never seem to punish defenses for going small.

Give any team a massive size advantage inside, they still just shoot 3s.

Putting Poole and Bjelica on the floor at the same time is kinda crazy.

Poole is infuriating at times.

Tatum was looking to pass there but it's a shooting foul?

Someone on the Boston beat is going to tweet Celtics would be leading if they made their free throws.

Horford initiated that contact but got the call because of course.
