Could we finally be seeing the culture change that was talked about when Hammond was hired 6 years ago?

By the way, I'm so much happier w/ Larry Drew than I was with Skiles. I know things could change after watching him coach, but I love his attitude.

Agreed. I know I've said this before, but do not underestimate the impact of us finally getting rid of the players (and coaches) who have negative personal baggage with a me-first attitude, and having a squad of hard-working guys who all want to pull the cart in the same direction.

You know, Brandon was like that in the beginning too and Sanders is just as enigmatic as Jennings. I know it's early and I love Sanders too, but don't suggest the situation isn't capable of changing quickly no different than it has with previous "stars".

I think the idea that Jennings doesn't want to win is dramatically overblown. I'd imagine playing for an organization like ours would likely be quite disillusioning for our players who are all about winning just as it is for the fans and for the same reasons.

One of the best things about Jennings when he was first here was the fire he brought to the team, and most of that wasn't "me first". We didn't really see that side of him until we traded for a bunch of me first guys, culminating with Stephen Jackson. For whatever reason Jax's attitude problems seemed to rub off on Jennings, to the extent that he even emulated Jax's "I'm not shooting tonight" BS that he has pulled a few times in his career.

Larry strikes me as a bit too independent to really have something like that rub off on him that way, but its easy to see how a group of young players who wanted to win coming in, having had to endure disappointment and an inept organization, traveling around and seeing the difference in facilities and staff that other teams are able to provide for their peers, could be swayed by a few veteran malcontents like the ones we have brought in over the last few years.

Reminds me a lot of how humble and excited Tobias was when he came to milwaukee. Happy, ready, and willing to work his tail off. It didnt take long for Skiles and pretty much all the cronies to drag him through the mud. Hope Drew can do better.

If we still had Tobes would we have drafted GA? Tobes becomes good starter, GA becomes a Star!

Mike-
Are the Bucks finished with their roster? Both Hammond and Coach Drew have said that they are not done at SF, Turner?

Steve Kyler -
They have money to spend so maybe there is something to be done.

I have been told that barring something major you may see Giannis Antetokounmpo there.

As for Evan Turner… I know he’d like to get out of that situation, so what does Milwaukee offer for him? I am also not sold he is enough of a player to really warrant giving up anything serious for him. Philly is current way under the cap, so they don’t “need” to do anything with Evan just yet.

Does Kyler mean he's hearing they could start or make him the primary SF?

With Delfino recovering from offseason surgery on his broken foot I'd say the door will be wide open in camp and preseason for Giannis and Middleton to show something.

I still think a guy like Evan Turner is brought in before the off-season is over.

I just worried that they'd consider moving Gianni for the SF. I know as the roster stands either player has a big opportunity with Delfino being out early at the least.

Giannis is going nowhere unless the Bucks get offered Dwayne Wade or Rajon Rondo or a Top 20 player.

Delfino will miss some camp so I'm fully expecting Middleton to get the starting SF spot to open up the season.

GA/Middleton 50/50 split is ideal. I don't ever root for injury, but can I root for a slow recovery?

Completely irrelevant question, BUT...

If Giannis pans out, can you think of any other successful NBA players with names that are as hard to pronounce? Or, for that matter, any other professional athletes?

Man I find it really hard to believe that Larry drew wants to go into the season with this cluster f...at the 3 spot.I personally didn't think it could b anyworse than last year but Damn going with a 19 year old rookie who is like 160 dripping wet,a afterthought in Middleton,n a guy who is nothing more than a 15 to 20 min a game dude in fino. That has to b the worst trio of 3s in the whole league.I for one hope drew has his way n they bring in a turner or young from Philly or anyone with a pulse for that matter.

I know 90% of this board wants the bucks to tank n what better than playing a kid who most people say is at least 2 years away from being ready n a guy from Detroit who might b nothing more than crappy,n a injured oldish fino.I get it but guys like me who don't wanna tank can't stomach seeing those 3 guys man the 3 spot,if that's the case I would rather have moute n daniels.
