Some posters here are clearly Giannis fans and not bucks fans. It’s weird to want to trade Giannis so he can “get another ring” you won’t get even close to equal value so why make a move he’s not asking for.

I'm not in the trade him now group, but there are three angles: Giannis, fans, ownership. unfortunately only two of those matter. If I'm ownership I probably trade Giannis and save $100m next year. As a fan, I see what he does in stat padding mode.

Wonder how much they lose in tickets and merch if Giannis ain’t around. There’s no way you trade Giannis unless he demands it.

We're fully cooked. The optimist view is what? That Giannis is going to give up trying to improve a legacy that lasts 100 years so that he can stay in Milwaukee?

Correct. They can retool enough to get the sixth seed next year.

Without him, ticket sales will plummet.

Correct. I know you meant it sarcastically but that is the correct view. That he enjoys Milwaukee, it's his home and he wants to stay so we build the best team we can around him with our somewhat limited resources.

yeah, I don't think there's a huge difference. Do very crude math, I'm guessing total ticket sales are $100m ($150*41*17000). LAL, GSW, NYK, Bos SAS and where ever Giannis goes will be near sell ours. attendance was declining and will decline next year even with Dame for the other games. I don't see Giannis and Kevin porter fighting for the six seed as a huge draw.

Deer District will be a ghost town. It’s already bad enough how thirsty the season ticket reps and merch deals have been with the Bucks Pro Shop.

Getting any positive player in the Middleton trade would make all of this a lot more palatable. Instead, we got Kuz.

For anyone wanting to trade him (me included), our first round picks that we can trade this summer will have to be included. No one’s taking that contract without proper pick compensation.

Just a pathetic return for a franchise legend

Add Ty Jerome and NAW as free agents. Both are perfect fits here.

The team around Gianni's is pretty depressing at this point.
