Playstation is having a nice Black Friday sale. Might pick up GTAV and Persona 5, both only $10.

That's a nice haul tbh.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Check out Best Buy early Black Friday sale there’s a couple good discounts

Ugh, I've been keeping an eye on Control for months, waiting for it to go on sale. Also thought Greedfall looked good too. Both are on sale for $30 a piece on Amazon. I shouldn't be spending money on games at this point considering I want to go back to Borderlands, do some Witcher 3 DLC, and re-play Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne. Decisions, decisions.

I bought Control a few days ago when it went on sale for 38.99 on the Xbox digital store, so of course it goes on sale everywhere else for 29.99. It’s a really fun game, though.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I do want to play Control at some point. By the time I get to it it will probably be cheaper, though.
If anyone is in the market, I can recommend A Plague Tale. I didn't finish it or probably close to it, but it was fun, interesting, and full of atmosphere. $25 on PSN right now.
EDIT: Also, DQB2 is still probably my GOTY so I obviously recommend that.

I saw that one was around $20 too, yea.
Ugh, I'm sure I'll probably buy three or four games this week. I rarely regret it anymore.

Also, just read that GoW is the PS+ free game next month (rumor, substantiated).

Really couldn't get into it tbh. I didn't put a ton of hours into it, but It never really hooked me.

So I picked up Borderlands 3 for the first time in over a month and my god, Gearbox has **** this game right to death. It's the most buggy, borderline unplayable mess I've experienced since Skyrim came out on the PS3.

I think I might be mostly interested in some of the digital-only Switch games right now. Any of you guys given that Untitled Goose Game, Overland, or Oxenfree a try? I'm kinda curious about those.

Looking at possibly upgrading to a true wireless earbud. Currently using the Jaybird X3 bluetooth style unit. I do like it very much, good sounds and comfortable. Seeing so many advertisements for the Beats Pro Wireless and Airpods Pro has me interested. Is there any reason to upgrade to either higher end product and if so which one?

I had the Jaybirds, but switched to the Jabra Elite Active 65t about six months ago and I love them. Everything has worked really well, battery life is excellent, sound quality is elite.

I picked up Spiderman GOTY and Kingdom Come GOTY for $15 apiece at Best Buy.
I may pick up Sekiro for $25 at Walmart but am on the fence tbh. Soulsborne is my favorite series of all time but I didn't love Sekiro when I rented it from the library for a few weeks. Kind of want to give it another chance though.

Huh, I have 30 hours into it and can't think of one bug I've come across. Any examples?

I played Untitled Goose Game and really enjoyed it. It has some fun puzzle solving/stealth gameplay, but the best part is just running around being an a*shole goose. After stealing a kid's glasses and leaving him searching for them in a puddle, I would terrify him with a loud honk every time I passed. Good times.
Edit: This is for my fellow Goose Game/Lynch combo fans.

I own a pair of true wireless earbuds, but they were just a $40 pair off Amazon. They're pretty good. Only issue for me (and this is an issue with basically all earbuds for me) is that they sometimes start to get a little loose when I'm running.
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Headphones-Waterproof-Earphones/dp/B07VQLT75P/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=10274YTBY4VGK&keywords=geekee+wireless+earbuds&qid=1574784628&sprefix=geeke%2Caps%2C315&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzNTNOOEQ3OEszSEJEJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDQ1MDk4N0xXNE9WUlBBN0lBJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1MjMwNDQxV0xQSVhCTzY4OUJIJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
For that reason, I bought a pair of "wireless" wired headphones (the kind where the earbuds are connected to each other but are bluetooth) from Sennheiser with my employee discount. Hoping these will be a little better for me but we'll see.
If I ever upgraded to the higher-end true wireless earbuds, I'd go with the Airpods personally; Apple's headphones have always stayed glued inside my ears in the past so I'm guessing I'd have more luck with the Airpods than others.

Just to be clear, I didn't notice anything serious in the way of bugs when I first picked it up. Yea, the menus lagged a bit, and apparently there was audio dropping in one of the planets that I guess I never noticed.
But picking it back up now they've COMPLETELY fu*ked the menus up. The inventory system was always kinda terrible, but it's not even useable now. If I click on a shield to compare it to one in the inventory, I get a list of guns. My grenades have shield icons. Sorting by weapon type has been replaced by just type so now everything is listed. Gun pictures don't line up with the correct gun (a picture of a shotgun is paired with the description of a pistol, or something). It's difficult to even guess what you're selecting because the sorting doesn't work.
There are skills now that do the opposite of what they're supposed to (reduce skill cool downs actually add time to cool downs, for example).
The guardian ranks are also completely **** and have simply not worked or in some cases been turned off.
I was stunned yesterday to pick it back up.
