Eh. Semis for sure, but they weren't better than the Pacers or Heat.

I agree with MBE. That team's potential is pretty limited.

They don't beat the first half version of the Pacers but they destroy what that team became in the playoffs.

By the way, the Suns crushed the Pacers twice, before they became terrible. Take that for what it is.

Scouting report on Ersan:

- Incredible motor
- Pretty form on his jumper, can shoot 3s at >40% when given consistent playing time and good looks
- Plays within his limits
- Loves the tripple threat position, which is in actuality a dual threat position as he will shoot or pass and not put it on the floor
- Very good rebounder
- Will occasionally put up an insane stat line (20 pts, 18 rebounds)
- Once went to management and complained because Andrew Bogut kept calling him "Borat"

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that there is a lot of interest in Ersan, but no worthwhile trade packages and thus the leak to Stein is designed to call the bluff and force interested teams to up their offers.

Or Kidd may actually really like Ersan from those 3-4 games he beat down the Knicks and Nets (Lopez) in years past.

Personally I think Stein is an idiot. Well I guess I can qualify that. I think he is smart, but thinks he is MUCH smarter and funnier than he actually is, which is kind of annoying. And when you think you are much smarter and funnier than you are, even if you are fairly smart, in my book, that makes you an idiot.

By most accounts it appears Ersan has wanted out for quite sometime.

Looks like he won't get his wish. That's the Milwaukee Bucks way. No one wins, we all just kinda lose.

I'm rooting for Parker, it's just going to take me awhile to rationalize and accept that he was selected over a player that is an equal (better in my mind) prospect and a more natural fit.

The stuff about how this board views players was hyperbole, but not far off.

Don't know if you were talking to me, but I thought I would respond.

I could see Kidd valuing his killer outside shot, his toughness, and his general approach to the game. If we are going to experiment with lineups that have Giannis at guard and Parker at the 3, it would make sense to have a nice floor stretcher like Ersan around.

That is the million dollar question - is Kidd really that enamored with Ersan or is he trying to up his value? They are so overloaded at the 4 it just doesn't make sense.

THIS. Also I'm not sold on Parker as a 4. Zach & Kevin LeMarcus etc will eat his lunch and as for defending the kid's supposedly incredible offense jus throw (literally) a big reserve (Bass for example) into his chest a couple times. As a 3 at least he won' get a beat down just a scorching but he should be able to flourish offensively at 3, So if he's a 3 who do you play 4? Most of you guys hate Henson and we need a shooter out there?

Sanders - Ersan - Parker - Knight - Giannis
Henson > ..... <Middlton > ...... < Wolter
...........JOB ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Inglis

dump Mayo zaza & Carlos

= looks good to me + if Ersan plays well his trade value rises

From what I recall, Kidd tried to orchestrate a Lopez+ for Ersan/Sanders trade when he was still with the Nets, only to get turned down from his own front office. That tells me he likes him.

Ersan Ilyasova and John Henson for Tyler Ennis and Alex Len? Suns may be giving up too much but might consider it if they re-sign Bledsoe. Maybe the Bucks sweeten the deal with a future 2nd.

I don't understand the pairing of Ersan to Phoenix. They have the Morris twins (although Marcus is more of a 3),Alex Len and Miles Plumlee. Where would Ersan, let alone Henson fit in? If they want him and it can get done in a Bledsoe sign and trade, count me in, but I don't see why. Hell, throw in OJ Mayo. He could really revitalize his career there. That would be the perfect system for him, especially if they want to go with a 3 guard lineup.

Yeah they weren't equal prospects. Pretty much everything I saw pre draft was Parker, Wiggins and pre injury Embiid in the 1st tier of prospects with Exum pretty much by himself in the 2nd tier. You might have preferred Exum but if he was an "equal" prospect to Parker how'd he drop to #5 then? Whatever though this shouldn't be in this thread just felt the need to respond

I don't think any of us hate Ersan. Sick of him is probably a better way to put it. He's been a Buck forever and seeing him out there just reminds us of the old days which we're not so fond of.

They pretty much are down to the studs. Their highest paid guy is Dragic at $7.5 million. They are the complete opposite of what the Bucks have been doing.

Reminds me of Reggie Miller asking that if they are twins why is one a 3 and the other a 4?

Because they've played on the same team for essentially every second of their lives?
