He's not a bad player and has positives. He's a pretty good shooter and can score the ball. I think he holds his own defensively and will work hard, solid build. Athletic, he's had some monster dunks that leave you like 'whoa'. By all accounts he's a good guy and teammate, but could be perception I guess. The problem is he's a tweener guard. He doesn't have true PG skills but is too short to be a true SG, which is probably his better spot. Debatable as a facilitator and how he makes others around him better. The biggest thing is he's going to get a monster contract this offseason but its unclear what he really is. He seems like one of those guys that is good, will put up good stats, but never will quite justify the paycheck that he'll get.

But he's still young, so I don't think his story is written by any means.

He's a talented player. Explosive first step, he has been excellent when it comes to spot up shooting and he seems to have a great attitude.

I don't see much of a difference between him and Eric Bledsoe, honestly. It will be interesting to see how they function in a dual-PG look.

Solid player that made the players around him worse. Would be a good shooting guard, but not at the 14 million dollars a season he's going to be making soon.

Here's some fun stuff to get Suns fans excited.

Oddly, the Bucks — perhaps the NBA’s most surprising success story this season — played better as a team when Knight was on the bench this season, according Basketball Reference’s on-off data. With Knight off the court, Milwaukee scored at a rate of 107.7 points per 100 possessions, up from 103.2 with him on the court. The team’s defense also improved with Knight off the court, as it allowed 103.5 points per 100 possessions with Knight on the court and 99.3 with him off of it.

Knight is a gamer, he's a quality basketball player. Should fit in nicely with Bledsoe dominating the ball. He's got absolute tunnel vision tho, was easily my biggest gripe with him. He's a midget SG basically. Tried to be more positive considering your probably scared sh*tless now after what everyone else said lol.

One of the biggest issues the Suns have had this season is that there is too much iso ball and selfishness from the guards. Judging by your guys posts, will Knight just add to that or is he actually different?

What are the pros and cons and do you think he will be a better fit playing next to Bledsoe? Is he good defensively? Also is he really as bad a 2pt shooter as his stats say?

Also, why didn't the Bucks want to pay him? What was the highest offer they gave him which he declined?

Thanks in advance.

To be fair to Knight he played as well as possible out of position. He is not a pg. He is like a taller Isaiah Thomas. So you are probably slightly improved on defense with Knight instead of Thomas.
But don't expect a great distributor. He loves to shoot. But he is a good scorer and three ball shooter.

We should have shown this chart to the Suns and gotten them to take Ersan as well.

Brandon Knight plays better as a SG, but Brandon Knight wants to play as a PG.

I think Phoenix in general has been a very good organization, but... I have no idea what they were thinking with their moves today. They made a very nice offseason move in getting Thomas and ruined it. I understand trading Dragic, but why not stop there? They apparently would rather pay Knight a fortune rather than keep Thomas - who's at least as good - at a very reasonable rate. And didn't they also basically give away a very valuable 2017 pick from the Lakers to Philly? It got a bit confusing, so I could have heard wrong.
