Gotta be Payne if he drops this far which he won't. He is BPA here by far IMO. Payne has that mix of shooting and passing that today's nba almost demands. Would love this pick and then a trade of Ennis or Bayless to see what value you could get. The just let Payne and MCW battle it out for starting spot.

Voted Dekker, he'd appeal to the casuals around the state. Solid prospect in the teens too, would be fine with him or Looney at 17. I would not mind a trade out though.

Tie vote, but it sounds like just a tad more conviction for Payne in the discussion. Thanks for all the votes, great participation.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I just don't believe that there are 19 people on this board who watch Murray State, even after I posted that game in the other thread.

Let's be honest, there aren't 19 people on this board who regularly watch non-Wisconsin/Marquette college basketball.

Payne if he's available as it would bring out the best in both he an MCW. Looney could get minutes immediately for his rebounding, but from the clips I've seen (and I don't watch enough college bball) his offensive moves looked like a major work in progress, sometimes overly deliberate sometimes totally wreckless.

Payne. I'd be thrilled with Payne if he was available.

At this point we're almost overstocked with long arm athletic freaks with questionable basketball skills, I'll take a ball handling/passing wizard to give punch off the bench and push the pace. Could be baby Lawson.
