Bill Michaels thinking Zach Lowe was a player thrown into the Mirotic trade is still so funny to me lol

Anyways I will add the Dunc'd On pod, just absurd how in-depth they go with all 30 teams. Understandably they'll be off some times but idk what bball podcast works harder than they do.

I regularly listen to Lowe, Locked on Bucks, and Open Floor. I know Sharp and Golliver can irritate some, but they're informed, unafraid of sacred cows, and give the Bucks a lot of love.

Locked on Bucks

The Gyro Step

Brew Hoop

Occasionally the JS Bucks Podcast

There are other national ones that will review the playoff games too

You guys gotta listen to Win in 6. It's among the best, and often they come with the best analysis

I regularly listen to World Wide (Brian) Windhorst’s “Hoop Collective Podcast” he does about 2-3 times a week.

Also Bill Simmons has come to the realization his second greatest skill to long form columns is podcasting WITH a good sidekick. He and Rusillo are now doing a weekly NBA pod which I’m enjoying immensely.

I love me some colorful writing but this one of the most relentlessly self-indulgent things I've ever read. Really good and funny writer in there somewhere screaming for an editor.

Yeah, I couldn't read this one all the way through without a headache coming on.

Loved the intent, couldn't digest the execution. Too many choppy sentences and strewn about thoughts.

The orange Starburst is the greatest of all the original Starbursts. Red is second best. Pink is third. Yellow is last, dead last, a total loser. It has nothing to offer. The other Starbursts make fun of it constantly. They’re relentless. They cut to its core. They call it gross. They call it pathetic. They call it dime-store trash. Orange, red, and pink will walk along the sidewalk and make it so yellow has to walk behind them. It can’t contribute to the conversation. They shut it out. They laugh at it. At dinner, the booth squeals underneath yellow when it scoots over. The other three Starbursts act like yellow farted. The waitress comes over to take their order. She asks them what they want. Orange points at yellow and says, “Um, yeah. Yellow will have the bag of fried dicks, please.” The waitress laughs. She points at yellow—many in the restaurant have turned to watch—and she laughs.

Pink
Red
Yellow
Orange

The only correct ranking of Starburst flavors.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, arms like wind turbines—and these would be yoked wind turbines. Some real Cansecos. These wind turbines have a bench and some free weights in the garage but also a membership at the Healthplex Fitness Center over by where the old K-Mart used to be. They know all the people that work at the GNC across from the pet store in the mall and they almost exclusively wear sleeveless shirts with oversized arm holes and they have a custom weightlifting belt they bought online and they do meal prep for the entire week on Sundays. Fourteen chicken breasts will be grilled. Fourteen sweet potatoes will be baked. Low-fat cottage cheese will be scooped into Tupperware containers. Beef jerky will be placed into sandwich-size Ziploc baggies. Seven of the meals will include an apple. Seven of the meals will include a banana. Apple one day, banana the next. Apple. Banana. Apple. Banana. This keeps the body on its toes. This keeps things fresh. Antetokounmpo, though.

Literally just heard on The Fan

“Has an 8 seed ever beaten a 1 seed?”

Soon followed by

“Has an 8 seed ever been to the finals?”

No it wasn’t Leroy or Gary. Maybe I’m being too harsh but I was just like come on

Tuned in today for the first time in a lonnng time, only to hear The Big Show discussing whether Kidd, Hammond, and Kohl should get rings if we win the title. Who comes up with these topics? Needless to say, I tuned out after only 5-10 mins, when Sparky started calling out all Bucks fans for not ripping on Kidd when Kidd was still coach, and then acting like he was the worst ever after he was fired.

Sparky can't be this stupid, right? The guy was on point like 5 years ago.

He was? Part of the problem is a lot of the fans that call into those programs and weren't criticizing Kidd are the same who are just this season learning how to pronounce Giannis' name.

Yeah.. They were talking about If Jason Kidd deserves a ring if the bucks win it this year. Fans were calling in saying he does because of the player he turned Giannis into.

I am pretty sure Herbie is a minority owner still... He probably gets a ring.

I have a test
Go to Youtube and search for "Lakers news", the first 5 guys that come up just don't listen to them ever again.
There's absolutely no basketball reason to be talking about the Lakers this time of the year, if they do you know what these guys are.

Honestly Herbie should get a ring even if he weren't a minority owner just for making sure the team stayed in Milwaukee.

lol at Kidd and Hammond though

I am completely cool and in agreement with Herb getting a ring, should have probably said that in my first post. Agreed that even if he wasn't minority owner, he should still get a ring.

It was the Kidd and Hammond part that had me rolling with laughter

I know...why am I listening, but Sparky and the laugh guy lead off asking if Burnes should be sent down, that it would be a panic move

Neither realized the Brewers had already sent down Burnes much earlier in the day
