These guys are all projected to go after #42, according to DX.

PG:
Grant Riller
Yam Madar
Devon Dotson

G/F:
Nate Hinton
Skylar Mays
Elijah Hughes
Immanuel Quickley
Mason Jones
Abdoulaye N'Doye
Cassius Stanley
Jay Scrubb (undrafted)
Justinian Jessup

F/C:
Paul Reed
Killian Tillie (undrafted)
Daniel Oturu
Kenyon Martin, Jr.

Based on that, I'd go Riller at #42 and Tillie at #60, and call it a day. Both 1st round talents IMO, dropping due to age/competition level (Riller) and injuries/measurements (Tillie). Lots of solid potential options for good role player types.

I'd go Stanley, but I'm a Duke fan. Tremendous athlete, solid defender and can hit threes.

So bizarre to me that he’s not a late lotto to mis 20’s guy in mocks. There’s enough there, especially in an upside barren draft like this one.

At #42 he would be a solid option. Wasn't touching him at #24. I would personally rather have Hinton over him if we go wing.

Riller, Quickley, Winston or Hughes at 42 is what I'm hoping for atm. No idea who will be there at 60 lol

Is there any possibility we could use next year's 1st and #42 to move up? I don't understand our remaining cap situation well enough.

We can't trade our 1st next year.

Most ready to go straight out of the gate?
Maybe Bane as a Brogdan 2.0? Although he seems to be late first/early second in most mocks.
I like Nick Richards from Kentucky, but not sure he'll contribute much as a rookie

I know it was confirmed by Nehm that we got pick #42 but the Pelicans writer for ESPN has a conflicting report.

I tweeted this at Nehm let's see if he can get to the bottom of it.
