Didn't have much of an option here.

Good on Jrue for securing the bag with everything his family has been through.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they looked at moving Middleton in the off-season if we can't get further in the playoffs.

i mean it's good that your ownership is willing to pay big money. but this will require some really smart gm'ing to build with this. think nets - once they got durant + kyrie, they went all in and spared no expense. once you get to that point, you will need to keep spending big $$$'s to try and get a chip. any type of cutting corners and it can cost you a season.

This includes getting the best coach possible.

Jrue Agrees to 4/160 Extension

1. What do we do if he doesn’t accept less? Let him walk?

2. He probably gets close to that from any other team anyways.

3. We won’t have the money for extreme depth but everyone complained in past years we needed to trim down and consolidate assets into a solid 8 or 9 man rotation which we have tried to do more of.

4. Who is better than Jrue would we be able to get? Nobody begs to come play in Milwaukee.

5. Incredible player, incredible teammate, and seems like an even better person than he is player. Great person to have representing Milwaukee.

A few months ago we were worried about Giannis leaving and we had Bledsoe.

Three years ago we played at the Bradley Center. Our opening night STARTERS included Tony Snell and Thon Maker.

This team/franchise is far from perfect and there's work to do but if you can't be happy with the overall state of things perhaps you need to find a new hobby. This isn't directed at anyone in particular, just a general statement.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I love it. Jrue is not only an incredible basketball player but an incredible human. I bought his jersey months ago and I even said in the transaction thread I had 0 doubt he wouldn’t sign long term

Off the court, I'm happy to continue having the Holiday family as a whole stay in Milwaukee. They've done some unbelievable things for the community since being here and continue to do great things.

But won’t there always be a small part of you that misses watching the draft lotto and thinking this might be our year?

An all star caliber guard extending long term in Milwaukee after only being here half a season is such a huge step for this franchise.

The contract is 4/$135mm with undisclosed incentives that could take it to 4/$160mm

I'd wait to see what this looks like in it's totality. Also, is this an extension on his player option of $27mm next year (i.e. five more years after this) or is this only four years after this year. I'm assuming four.

I found this but it's not from a verified account.

Extraordinary. I feel confident that his game will age well too. He relies on his strength and wits as much as anything else. Irrational exuberance?

Bucks had no negotiating leverage.

Big deal that we won’t lose him for nothing!

Holiday could have forced the Bucks to pay more in the offseason but didn’t.

Congratulations guys.
I wanted him in Boston but the asking price was just too much. You really wanted him and that's why you paid so much.
That Smart/Holiday backcourt tho would have been something else defensively. Oh well.
Congrats again.
Find guys like Portis on cheap contracts, don't pay guys like Lopez and you'll be good.

The biggest win of the Bucks all this regular season.

He knows how to play to win. Also I believe that his play mitigates alot of the Bucks' terrible decision making/plays.
