Is Bobby Portis our center to replace Brook or just another backup center? Shown a lot of "just a backup center" for a while.

I do agree that after firing Bud, #2 priority is bringing in a real PG. Literally tear this entire **** to the ground around 34 if you have to, but at some point you need to put a star offensive PG next to him.

If we keep Giannis the NBA will take care of other things. Big and old organisation that has experience how to build teams that have superstars.

Bud needs to go off course. And NBA will find good supporting cast for Giannis.

Nick Nurse coached circles around Bud in their matchups.

I'd rather re-sign Brook and trade Bobby. But if we blow things up Brook may want to move on.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Baller and the Clippers or Masai and the Raptors have some interesting guys.

Maybe OKC? At some point they're going to have to cash in the 75 picks they have. Maybe they feel they're close to being able to take a leap given this season.

Nope. Not defender all. Not a playoff guy either.

Looking at this roster, I see scenarios where we only bring 3 guys back. Guys who we want back are free agents, guys we don't want are free agents, and there are guys we want to trade. Basically only Giannis, pat and marjon are safe but easy to through in as trade filler (latter 2)

And thus we enter one of our more interesting off-seasons in years...

Problem is we want players to align with Giannis a little bit. Give Kat and Conley a change of scenery.

I'm thinking maybe acquire picks to swap for Dame, but I haven't thought at all about if we can make that work or not. There are other posters around here who know their way around those rules much more than I do.

Appreciate the owners willing to pay some hefty luxury tax and then bringing in a new owner when one of them wanted to cut payroll. We'll see how that all factors into whatever moves we make. Including the 2 years left on Bud's deal.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

We definitely don't have anything Portland would want. Have to have another team involved.

That's what I mean. Maybe OKC would value some veteran leadership from Khris or Jrue and give us something that would be more appealing to POR. They have assets to burn.

I’m still expecting ty lue and the clips to part ways this off-season.

I’d look at lue first, and then if he’s not available, I’d bring in nurse.

Get a new coach before sign ANY new players.

Sell: Jrue/Khris/Crowder/Dragic/Carter/Bobby/Jingles
Keep: Giannis/BroLo (backup center)
Aim for: Lillard/VanVleet/Haliburton/Ayton

Sell your old guys for whatever you can get now.

Don't wait another year when their value is even lower.

Nurse is fine I guess, less idiot game management at least, just someone teach giannis a post game.

Lue has really impressed me through all the mess with LAC.

idk what they're going to do if Bud isn't fired since the roster can only be reconfigured so much, that's basically the only play we have left with this core + lack of assets. Too old, too injured, too overpaid. 5 2nds for Jae Crowder who got benched is just brutal too
