Very good coach, hope he finds a spot somewhere soon.

Would be a great candidate for the Pistons. Obviously could take a year off or do the Brett Brown route on San Antonio.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I think this is the right move, but man I feel so bad for Bud.

Walks away with a championship, millions of dollars, and a cheerleader. Nothing to scoff at.

Most would get fired after a playoff exit like that. Rip to his bro.

Will always be thankful for Bud being an integral part of bringing a championship back to Milwaukee, it was a hell of a run.

Horst needs to be on a short leash as well. Tick tock Jon.

I’m sad honestly. It had to happen after that collapse and several playoff failures but I have such respect for the winning culture he brought here post Kidd and for the title we won. Never thought I’d see a Bucks title in my life and I feel greedy for wanting more. This is nothing like the jubilation I felt after Kidd was finally canned. Hopefully they can find the right coach whether that’s Nurse or somebody else.

Now could we maybe have 2 or 3? You can make a compelling argument, yeah. But I'm thankful for the one, nonetheless.

Wise man. If Twitter had been around, we would have run Don Nelson out of town after the Celtics swept us in 1984.

Don’t disagree with the decision, but some guys are cheering this move on like we just parted with Larry Drew, Chris Ford or something. You can make an argument he was the best Bucks coach ever, all things considered

Funny how this board loves lee yet wants no part of him as HC.i agree though fresh blood not someone who may or may not have buds philosophy

Wish him nothing but the best moving forward. (Unless he coachs the Celtics or the Lakers at some point)

Can't remember who said it but someone said Buds sideline look is that of a man in Vegas who had bet way too much money on a table game they didn't fully understand. That **** cracked me up.

Interesting Feigin is on the statement. He's president but has nothing to do with basketball ops. Edens should have put his name on it.

Bud was a really good coach here, helped us go from a bottom of the barrel franchise to as good as a 5 year run as any small market can ask for. Was definitely under appreciated and had way more influence on our success than he will probably be given credit for.

But it was time, no way you can keep the coach after a historic loss like that. Good luck, condolences on the loss.

I laugh every time someone tries to act like this franchise operates on emotion and feelings when most of our personnel decisions have been pretty cold and straightforward. When things aren’t working, the bucks usually move on quick.

The Brook/Middleton decision is a huge tipping point. No clue why they are keeping Horst to make that decision.
