Horst should be getting his roses today. What an absolute winner of an offseason.

Absolutely. I’ve had my reservations, but Big Balls Jon is here to stay.

We need a 30 for 30 on Jon Horst, starting with receipts from this board in 2017.

I'm glad that Horst and Griff did not come across giddy about the prospect of trading Jrue for Dame. They absolutely gave Jrue the respect he deserves for his impact on bringing a championship to Milwaukee.

To me, Griffin doesn’t sound very prepared for the task at hand. Could just be a bad interview or my own anxiety, though.

NGL, Griff makes me a little nervous. Hope he can just get the guys to buy in and Stotts can maximize the offense.

I think that asking coaches questions like "how are you going to coach these 28+ year old superstars" is weak and just column filler. He obviously has a go to answer of 'chop wood, carry water' but he has proven he can coach strong defense and is a leader of men. He can really lean on Terry Stotts when it comes to coaching offense. I think he has been brought into an incredible situation.

Hearing him speak at the Buck's golf outing I was less than impressed with his public speaking ability and the depth of his answers. That said, it was pretty informal.

He's been a bad interview from the jump. Hopefully, that just isn't his forte. If he can command respect and provide energy, let Stotts do the big boy coaching.

I think his answers have been great. He mentioned actually implementing things they see on tape. Sounds like it won't be up to the players to notice opponents' tendencies anymore.

hopefully we didn't whiff on Griffin. I'm sure he's nervous, but the interview doesn't inspire confidence, with so much at stake.

He sounds like a great dude and hopefully, a great leader of men…something about him makes me very nervous though. Speaking in a lot of cliches instead of answering the underlying questions.

I agree. It is clear that he is thinking faster than he is speaking and that leads to stumbling points in your live interview. It is clear that he is a guy who watches tape, notices problems, and wants people to grind. He was also Giannis' choice.

All of that being said. It is Dame time.
