If the Knicks beat Charlotte then there is a 3 way tie and PD comes into play

Point differential comes into whether the Knicks win or lose anyway. Cleveland can finish 3-1. Celtics can finish 3-1. Nets can finish 3-1. Magic can finish 3-1. Then there's us, Miami, and New York. That means 5 teams for one spot decided on point differential.

Win and in with a 4-0 record.
If we lose, make the margin as slim as humanly possible

If NY loses they drop to 2-2 and would be out of the picture. If we also lose then Miami wins the group with the h2h tiebreaker over us. But yes then all the 3-1 teams would be decided by PD for who gets the Wildcard spot

Curious how much the in-season tourney matters. If it does, this could be a good game. If I understand correctly, if win, Bucks 1 seed and have home knockout game next Monday or Tuesday. If lose, can still get 2 seed if Knicks win AND have PD over Knicks, Heat, and whoever wins Group C. Otherwise its going to be a PD battle for the wild card of the remaining 1 loss teams.

I was very very meh on in-season tourney but kind of want to go to a knockout round game next week and see how the vibe is.

There'd still technically be a scenario where NY loses tonight and still gets in, but it would require several different things to happen and its fair to say the Knicks would be for all intents-and-purposes out with a loss.

Giannis and Dame make it sound as if it's important to them to get the end of bench guys and staff some extra cash. Personally I don't think much of the tournament as a fan but since it looks like we'll advance, might as well win the damn thing.

My guess is Butler plays and Khris does not. Bucks were slow and cautious with his knee, they will certainly be the same with his Achilles

If it's true that they care about this thing this is the first real litmus test of this team.

That's huge money for a guy like Bolden. 25% of this year's salary and maybe even something like 10% of his career earnings if he doesn't stick around.

I do think it is weird it isn't tiered. Have it based on some flawed advance metric that can out on the TV graphic to remind fans. $750k for Top 5, $500k for 6-10, $250k for remaining. Then again, it will be hilarious watching Beasley and TA try to lead a frantic last 5 minute comeback for that paycheck

It's now being called "tendinitis in the left foot." Jez can probably tell us what that means.

Herro and Butler out. So we'll go down by 19 and win in the 4th.

Bucks win by 30. Dame sends fans home to write angry letters to Pat Riley.

We usually play @Miami on the second of a b2b or in the 3rd game in 4 days or with half our team injured and get destroyed. Nice to see a change.

I'm taking him to the game he's excited (obviously a heat fan but that's OK) . Looking for tix now.

Bucks usually don't win in Miami, I hope the trend of winning in Miami continues. (I've seen too many bucks losses when I lived here).

For me this is now a MUST WIN!

Hoping for 140-124

Dame could really do a number on the entire Heat culture by going nuclear tomorrow night. This will likely be a high scoring game, I like 140-124 being the new 120-104. It’s fitting. Go Bucks!

Giannis needs to let Dame bring the ball up and be happy_cash in on the feeds he gets.. then Dame can call "his time" whenever he wants... I feel like as December nears he's a couple heat checks away from scoring a 50 burger with cheese

I wonder if Beasley, Marjon, Dame, and Bobby went out last night in Miami. If they did, this board will surely only blame Beasley if they come out slow.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.
