Surprised to see Bleacher Report rank us 2nd in the power rankings. They actually go as far to say we have an argument as the best team in the NBA for over a month now. I know, I know, talking heads and big media. But at least someone see's our ability.

It's funny as hell to me how some seasoned NBA fans think that we're going to get killed in the playoffs because we don't play high intensity defense for 48 minutes on random Tuesday nights in December against teams like the Spurs.

Now if we're getting beat by 50 at home by a team like the Celtics 2 weeks before the playoffs like we did last season with the great coach Bud, then I might be a bit worried.

If we played really bad defense on a random night here and there in December we wouldn't be concerned. However, it's every game, and has been all season. It's our identity.

I really hope that posters like yourself are right, and that we have some mythical switch that we can flick come the PO's, where we turn into an acceptable defensive team (we're never going to be a topline defense with the way we play, so we just have to accept 'better' at this stage).

It's addressing why we'll be in meltdown mode. We can enjoy all of the wins we're going to rack up this season, but does even a #1 seed mean anything if we flame out in the playoffs again this year? It feels like it will happen again unless we fix our defense.
