Feels like it's only a matter of time before Dame misses 2+ months will a mildly sprained ankle.

Dame is really starting to give me some serious Terrell Brandon PTSD.

The I don't want to be here vibes are 110% identical.

I'm guessing we actually get a lot of AJJ at PG.

Part of Utah's recent surge is Kris Dunn moving into the starting lineup. Hopefully he's a Bucks trade acquisition before tomorrow nights game.

Let Dame take the whole week off. He seems like he needs it and it gives the team an excuse for losing to the Celtics.

I'm guessing they gave him some time to be with his kids and clear his head.

I'm surprised at how inhumane Bucks fans have become.

Exactly. Having money doesn't make you immune to personal issues that affect many.

Wow, RealGM getting sensitive. It's just a joke folks.

Hope he gets some quality time with his kids in.

Looking for nice clean fresh-smelling uniforms and a decisive win.

IDK, if it's anything like me having a week over to chill with my kids made me never want to work again and led to a very unproductive week last week

Has there been anything specific about Dame having a hard time or are we just speculating about his cold streak/seeming disinterest?

He mentioned in an article how tough it was to be without his kids for the first time during Xmas. Our wonky schedule leading into and during the holidays didn’t help

Kind of in the January doldrums here, and this is the time of the season when the NBA regular season feels like baseball's Grapefruit League -- nice to win games, but far from essential.

Nevertheless, with all the unhappiness and unrest around here, maybe it's time to grab the grapefruit by the horns, so to speak, and play with purpose.

It is very likely that the divorce situation is affecting Dame. Very sad for him.

I'd guess the number 1 thing as to why he doesn't look happy on the floor is the coach.

But yea the family stuff has to be a factor. I of course don't know for sure but if they split, she and the kids are probably in Portland so he never sees the kids. Its where they've been kids dont have to leave school, move etc. Obviously nba players travel a ton and are used to be gone but in the majority of cases the family is in the home city so when the team is home you make up for it. I would guess in his case that is not happening, but someone else might have dug into it idk. As far as specific to milwaukee, if what I guess is true this family issue would apply wherever he got traded not just here

True. That Miami to Portland flight is no short hop.

I hope he is able to reconcile the irreconcilable differences with his estranged wife in private and out of the public eye and come to some resolution that leaves his mind clear to focus on (basketball) court matters.

I'm sure it is. Don't care who you are or the reasons why. Divorce sucks.
