I'm more excited to get the 1st look at AJJo than I was for every 1st rounder since Jabarles. It's a combo of him having an intriguing set of attributes, & the group's been so dire, outside of DiVo. I'm used to hating our picks. This is a refreshing change.

This is a great attitude but he needs to bring this every time he's on the court.

I’m not giving up on Marjon yet. My new pick to be the 5th starter this year. He’s going to break out.

Marjon turning into a rotation player would be a very pleasant surprise.

Going into summer league, show me your BUCKS PLAYERS UNDER 25 YEARS OLD WHO YOU WOULD DEFINITELY KEEP ON THE TEAM power ranking.

Here's mine:

1. Dairy
2. Livingston
3. AJaxJr
4. AJJohnson
5. Tyler Smith
6. Galloway/Marjon (tie)
7. TyTy
8. Rollins

Also out of curiosity why Livingston over Ajax?

Let’s **** get it boys. Either we have multiple future all-stars or Summer League is meaningless garbage that doesn’t matter. Milwaukee Bucks basketball baby.

Yeah I was excited when I thought he was ready to take the jump to actually being effective (after last year's summer league). Unfortunately I don't think he will ever look like the game is natural to him, and his defensive game never went from tenacious but fouling a lot to effective -- he just fouls a lot. I don't think he will ever be a shot creator, he has looked so awkward once real games start.

Can we get a temperature check on the actual success rate of older drafted guys going into their 3rd Summer League? Idk man, Marjon seems like a good dude, but let’s not lie to ourselves and say he wouldn’t have been cut by now if we hadn’t already used a 1st round pick on him. Not really expecting him to still be on the team in 2025.

The fact we were keeping him out of major trade offers is pretty bad in hind sight. We hoped he would take the next step, but he has not. It is usually pretty obvious when a player has ascended past Summer League guy to actual NBA player. It was obvious with AJ Green. Marjon has always looked like a guy who, before the play, decides what he is going to do instead of reading the defense.

As far as my hopes for Summer League? I actually hope that Chris Livingston starts to look like an actual NBA Bench player. I hope that AJax looks like a guy who is less afraid of attacking the rim. I hope that one of Tyler Smith or AJ Johnson look like a 1 Summer League type of guy (in a good way). Finally, I hope that Marjon looks good enough that he could be used as a trade throw in after we get ourselves off of the 2nd apron.

AJ Johnson and Livingston are the guys I’m most intrigued to see how they look.

I’m kinda out on MarJon. Decent enough talent but don’t think he really gets it.

I like Dre but I don’t really think SL is the right environment for him to shine, I think we’ll get a better read of where he’s at when he’s playing with the main rotation guys, so will he interesting to see him in preseason and early regular season. If he cracks the rotation of course, it’d be a rough sign if he’s buried on the bench to start the year.

Livingston over AJax for me because I think Livingston shows signs of knowing his limitations and he's not even 21 yet. I like his athleticism. I like the pace he plays at. I think he has real 3&D moldablity. Is that a word? Should be.

I think he just shows signs of understanding what is needed of him as a player. He is an effort rebounder. He looks totally willing to be a garbage man on an NBA roster.

AJax has some incredibly interesting tools, but he was a fouler and, on offense, he was suddenly afraid of attacking his defender. He would pass out of situations that were just unthinkable. I am not sure what terrified him. I was hoping he would be a guy who would just dunk on people. He was passing out of layups.

Man i want this kid to succeed but he is do hard to root for. If he didn’t find a shooting coach to work with he is probably done.

“Be undeniable” is agent talk for “be just good enough to get another contract.”
