I think it's more than that. They're clearly running sets to get him looks. He's gone from a 5th option to someone they look to weaponize.

I have to say it just for old times sake.

What does Grayson Allen give you that AJ Green can't.

Glad someone (Doc) finally listened to me.

Giannis and Dame being the best duo in basketball has been pretty chill. In this 8 of 9 stretch (should be 9 straight) they're at

Giannis: 35/11/8 on 64% TS
Dame: 26/4/10 on 61% TS w/ 3.5 AST/TO ratio

Giannis for the season is #1 in scoring by almost a full 2ppg between him and #2 lol. Scoring title would be a fun lil accolade to add to his resume.

Grayson was/is a far better athlete and could do more with the ball, but both guys are absolute snipers. Keep feeding Green.

My gut feeling says he does. He made his return from injury in January 2023 against his former team Detroit.

Happy I got to make this one, and happy my short trip to WI included a Bucks W.

Defense was ugly at times, but they did what they had to do. Not gonna complain about seeing a 40pt burger with a triple double from giannis.

Also some fun bombs from dame. I saw the time on the clock before halftime and realized I should take my phone out and just got to record dame as he hit the buzzer beater. That was fun.

Got to participate in an MVP chant towards the end of the game, I haven't done that in a long time.

I also heard an AJ Green chant late in the game, that was a first. Nice to see him beginning to become a fan favorite.

Also that Celtics scout nearby never left his seat the entire game until a late 3 sealed with a minute or so left. Then he ran out of there clutching his scouting report like he was holding some world secrets.

What did he learn???

Giannis is really really good at basketball.

AJ is a much better shooter imo and that high release is hard to guard. Grayson often shot too slow and was shaky in the clutch. But was better with ball in hand and attacking the rim.

Late but I noticed in the GT Mickey posted about the 4th qtr shootout.. I remember that.. some fan would be drawn and would choose the Buck who would make the 1st shot in the 4th. If the guy wasn't in then Jon M. would pick from who is in and if that Buck made it thr fan gets a TV lol.. It was easy to go M. Redd in the later years but with Big Dog, Ray and Sam it was tough.. they all got theirs. Before that it was just random guessing..ummm Alvin Robertson/Dale Ellis/Jay Humphries

Was in town at fiserv much fun.

Game definitely had ugly parts but main things I was looking for on the court I saw:

1. Giannis - Dame chemistry continues to improve, including a few nice pick and rolls, and a lot of assists for both. Of course Giannis straight getting better could be a driver here as well.

2. Ajax was the only hustle guy we had and wow is it a big deal if he keeps improving! This team needs an elite defensive specialist / athlete who can make things happen in a bad way. Our matador perimeter defense, disappearance from the offensive boards, and absence of partners for Giannis on the break really showed.

On cleaning the glass, since the 12th the bucks are 8th in differential at +6.8. They have the 6th best offense and the 10th best defense. It wasn’t the best competition but they did what good teams do by beating teams they are better than.

I’m not ready to call this team a contender but they’re a good team again and after that start that’s all I’m asking for.

Lopez had a decent scoring game, but can he get a rebound:

AJJ-9 rebounds in 26 minutes
Dame-5 rebounds in 39 minutes
BP-6 rebounds in 23 minutes
Trent-4 rebounds in 19 minutes
Lopez- 0 rebounds in 35 minutes

Can a 7 footer actually get no defensive rebounds in 35 minutes? I know the answer. His elite block outs are responsible for every other players rebounds.

This is a perfect example of why this game was close. Low effort level from the veterans.
