Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
Khris going splat on the final play made me hold my breath, but he seemed to get up okay.
Obviously the end was not well executed, but I'm happy for Khris and that he was able to experience crunch time against a rival.

Whenever a team makes Dame play defense, he can't make a shot down the stretch.

That overturn was complete BS and ended up giving them the momentum

Some encouraging defense for some stretches. I think if Prince was in the game Brook would not have been playing.

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
The two stars no showed down the stretch. Giannis had one assist which says a lot about his mindset tonight. We can't beat Boston with all our limitations if he's not close to perfect. His third quarter was great but was meh to bad the rest of it imo.

I do not think this was a good Giannis game, like at all
I am admittedly distracted, so can definitely stand corrected. He looked great when I was really tuned-in.
In either case, that three was horrendous.

Sucks to admit that they have no shot against Boston in a 7 game series

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
That was way too predictable.
I was honestly telling someone before the game that if the Bucks and Celtics played 10 times, the Celtics might win all 10. But their average margin of victory in the 10 games would be like 4.1.
Bucks can play the Celtics tough, but they will never beat them.

As good as Giannis is, he is dumb af. Dame and Khris, when he shakes off the rust, need to be the closers.

Giannis fault that Dame could even draw rim on multiple 3s at crunch time while he got crushed on the other end?

BBIQ rears its ugly head in final 5 minutes of the game. Poor shot selection by our studs They are too stupid to win anything big.

Same problems even when the Celtics have an off night from 3. .500 after 22 games when the talent is here. Unacceptable.

Re: PG Celtics - 4th Quarter Fade
Another moral victory. Got to have a discussion about how Doc's Bucks struggle in the clutch when under Grief they were elite. They didn't run anything. Guys just iso'ed and chucked, or slung it immediately coming around the screen. And playing Brook down the stretch all the time who they can mismatch is questionable on the other end.
Certain things will get better. Like Giannis & co. could make more bunnies (though this is a regular problem against Horford). But others will get worse, like Bobby won't play d & rebound like that hardly ever (he'll shoot better).
Feels like they met or exceeded expectations, but yet it still shows 0-5 against Celts & Cavs. Should be 2-3 minimum. Maybe those are wins vs. the ilk of the Knicks & Mavs. This has been a very weird schedule. People will talk. 80% inaccurate, 20% accurate.

There's nowhere for him to pass the ball. Celtics don't leave shooters, they switch everything, and Bucks rarely move off ball. He just has to kill the single coverage but Horford voodoo and elbows stop him. At least in the 2nd half they realized they can make him switch. They just have to be a lot crisper and faster about doing that.
