Giannis isn't going to play in my opinion. This sickness seems to be spreading like wild fire and its the Nets without a few of their main Bucks killers. Perfect time to rest.

They absolutely do need to have these guys all healthy at the same time to really evaluate where we stand in the contender pecking order right now. As encouraging as the last month and a half has been, I don't really believe everything's been magically fixed just because we've now got a few young role-players to be excited about. Even if I hate to admit it, nobody's rightfully putting us past any of Cleveland, Boston, or the Knicks right now based on the evidence.

This is a pretty fair state of the union imo. TBH I’m not sure we’re even ahead of a fully fit Magic team atm. We’ve improved since our grim start but while a lot of that is down to sorting out the rotations and, frankly, just trying harder, the schedule has been a lot easier too.

But we’ve gone from utter disaster to outer circle contender which is a step in the right direction. Midds getting back into form is looking really promising too.

The brave move it to trade Bobby before the deadline for a piece or two that can kick us up another gear. I’m not sure Horst will be keen to move Bobby given his uptick in play and sentimental value to the franchise but it’s the obvious play to make if the right deal is available.

I’d be fine with us staying pat though. If Giannis keeps up his MVP play and Dame catches fire at the right time we’re a realistic chance to win the title.

Dunno, they always wait like 1 hour before game to announce it, dunno why they do that ****?

Are they afraid people will cancel their ticket or what? its not like the sickness is evaluated hourly lmao.

Bucks are a good team, just have not proven they're a great team yet. Over the recent stretch after the 2-8 start, the only losses were to the Hawks/Celtics/Cavs, and the Hawks loss was avenged in the NBA Cup tourney. That leaves the Celtics, a game decided on 2 possessions and the Cavs. I do believe there could have been some 'hangover' after the Cup win, but ultimately hard to assess without Dame playing.

That being said, if Khris returns to the form he was during the playoffs last year, I see the Bucks beating both Cavs/Celtics and taking the East. That version of Khris is an All-NBA caliber player, and he makes a massive difference.

Again, these games where Khris is forced to be the #1 playmaker shakes the rust off. I was always intrigued by this idea. But didn't necessarily want to risk the losses. This one we should still win, ala Washington. Feel better after seeing it.

Doc has been listening to me. No need to play Giannis against scrub teams, even if we lose. My prescription for Giannis:

1) No back to backs
2) No need to play against sub 500 teams. If he does play, limit it to 20 minutes.
3) Try to get the top 3 on the court together against the good teams.

Everything else is unimportant compared to keeping Giannis healthy before the playoffs. It's amazing that posters keep needing to be reminded of that.

You really just need the big 3 getting reps, and that includes building confidence against bad teams. Your idea is way overkill and disregards that the Bucks are trying to make revenue

The NBA has a protocol for injury reports, tied to gambling concerns. It has nothing to do with ticket sales.

Several Nets players also out, per screens in the arena. Bogdanovich, Cam Thomas? Just saw a glimpse of the list.
