I'm glad we got the 1 championship, we will talk about it for at least 15 years until we get some solid draft picks and restart the cycle.

Bulls blitzed Dame every possession down the stretch to get the ball out of his hands. He struggles to even get that pass out, much less do it productively.

Re: PG Bulls- Ugly Loss
This team needs to understand we used up all our "House Money" losses in the first 10 games of the season.
Maybe they think regular season games don't matter, but dropping games like this, and the Nets game, matter when you end up needing to win five of the last six in April when you're trying to stay out of the Play-in, or trying to secure a home play-off series.
The game was there for the taking, but we didn't want it.

Re: PG Bulls- Ugly Loss
The Middleton commentary is silly. He tried to do too much down the stretch of these games. Maybe in this one it was because Dame was gassed. Last one he's all we had. Just shouldn't be bringing the ball up, last game. We've known that for yrs. Has still been effective. Plus he rolled his ankle again in this one after a dirty play by Lonzo.
If anything this stretch should hearten people that if you have guys to bring the ball up, and another creator in the halfcourt we can count on, Khris could be back to near his old self when he's fit.

Too many bad players on this roster. You can't win games consistently when a 1/3 of the rotation is below replacement level. Horst needs to acquire 1 more useful player.

Yeah your right. Dame is no closer.

Losing games like this is how you end up in the play-in.

Get used to teams blitzing him, every team that's done it beat us late.

Middleton is a role player now.
In the games where he has accepted that fact he has been a positive.
In the games where he thinks he's the same guy he was in 2021 he has sabotaged us.

Not sure what games your watching. He seemed to have no problem beating OKC or Miami when they did it.

So you guys didn't watch how the Bulls defended? Blitz then face guard? It allowed one on one play with no help for others. Mids missed, and he should have made those. We could use another quick guy that can attack off the bounce to take advantage of that defense.

Re: PG Bulls- Ugly Loss
Khris was 8-15, 4-6 from 3, 21 pts, 2 TO's v. 4 assists. Actually upgraded the d on White. All thru rolling an ankle, just coming back a couple weeks ago & being forced to do an excessive amount w/ a gassed Dame, no Giannis, & Bobby choking. Maybe there's some overreactions, and when the context, + outcomes change, so will the narratives.

OKC didn't blitz him at the end, that game was a blowout. The benches were in. Miami didn't blitz either.

What good does it do if Mids isn't willing to give up the ball?

Miami sure as hell blitzed him and OKC doubled him most of the game.

Why would you want one of the clutchest players in the league giving up the ball to Rollins?

Re: PG Bulls- Ugly Loss
We had White trapped under the basket with Middleton, Bobby, and Dame right there. None of them really pressured him at all and he got the ball out easily to Giddey who hit a three. Feel like a better defence makes something happen there.
Middleton's turnover was awful and he should've made a couple more shots as well. He was fine and we have much bigger issues elsewhere.
I really liked Rollins play in the fourth. Green was giving up penetration all game and his shooting remains pretty hit or miss. Andre ugh.

Nope, you definitely don't know what a blitz is.
